Oh, and my general point here is that Sony isn't just selling you a game machine when they are selling the PS3, they're basically selling a full-fledged computer that will be the best that you can buy for $600 at the time of it's release. Of course, some may find this reproachful because they'd rather own a game system rather than a console-computer hybrid (which I partially agree with, I don't like craploads of un-necessary features). PS3 also has the software that I'm after, which is the awesome Megami Tensei series by Atlus.
Personally, what people should be focusing on is the great software that will be on these machines. For example, Mist Walker will be making games for XBOX 360 exclusively if I recall correctly, so if you're into games by Ex-Square employees you'd want to take a look at that. Look beyond the console itself and focus on the fun games to come.
