I liked you when i first met you on SC but for some time i've had no respect for you what so ever to be honest. I personally feel it's about time you was taken down as a moderator. And if you are proud you managed to get 17 accounts then you are pretty sad.

Shocko, he believes it was successful in that it made an example of how un-monitored double accounts are because of how long it took them to find it, not because of the sheer number he had.

It's still not an experiment I'd do, but whatever floats you boat.

How so? I would do it if I wasn't wary of being suspended/banned. It's called an experiment. How is this sadder then scientists when they figured out all the elements? That was a tad more productive, but this is more interesting.

like it's double accounting maybe not the biggest of offences if you ask me but to say that he was testing the moderators is a sad sad excuse. Scientists figuring out elements and a guy blaming an internet admin for having 17 accounts is TOTALLY different.

He is sad in my opinion for doing this and it's not an open debate about it because it's my opinion doesn't have to be yours.

I suppose it is sad in a way, because if his sole intent was to test the administration then he wouldn't have rigged polls. I really don't care enough about the issue, though, I have to admit.

Oh yes he totally cared about the "political" situation in SEN because he made 17 accounts to see how long it would take for them to notice.

He even admited to rigging a pole with his accounts so don't try defending him for that.

Bottom line it was a sad excuse for a stupid thing to do.

Shocko, you think that I made 16 additional accounts just to have some extra votes on stupid polls? Why the hell would I do that? It's not that easy to register so many accounts.

Double accounts is a big problem today. But as I've proven it with this little thing, discovering them is even bigger problem.

Except that (as far as I know) this scan requires that you search for a specific IP. Unless you suspect a certain member, it's not really helpful.

I believe they can only scan for specific IPs, so you must know who has the double account before you search for them.

I see, my mistake. Maybe that won't be the case then, I'm not sure. There are other ways to make a case than breaking the rules with 15 other accounts. I think it's just a cover-up, anyway.

Don't get me wrong, what DEAD did was wrong, and there should be consequences for his actions, I'm just saying it's not really as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. He changed the outcome of one poll that had little (if any) effect on SEN. Calling him a "double agent" and a "terrorist" plotting to destroy SEN is a bit extreme...
