Killer_Kow, you've brought up a good point, what I think it did was there was only one server. So it didn't connect to the fastest, it connected to the only one. When the servers split all the current accounts were on each server to not piss people off at losing their accounts tongue.gif. That's what I remember anyway. I could send anyone the Starcraft v1.0 that wanted it.

Edit: Okay I just tried logging onto Battle.net with version 1.0. It said Connecting to the Fastest Server, but I believe that it was all one server, and I think we might be able to connect to another gateway with the gateway editor.

I've connected to other servers with SC 1.0 before. I think I might have needed to use a different battle.snp to do it.

Aww rasberries. I wish I could change my vote to no.. No offense, but unlike Counter-Strike, I like the newer versions of this game.

The only reason I can't think of for using an old version like 1.0 is to exploit the old bugs in it.

That's actually one of the reason I would want to tongue.gif. Also I'm thinking maybe playing on v1.05 or so and making an awesome mod to go along with it might be better. Anyone else agree?
