but no one is answering:
what maps would you like to see remade to a pro level?
It's like saying which maps do you wish were better...
Answer:
All.he meant the ones that arent already pro -_-;
sometimes when i go on bnet i get pissed off bc of the stupid maps that people play, when you need to play a good map you have to make the game for yourself, bc no one else on bnet wants to play something that requires brainpower
At first I figured you meant remaking old maps but including "Original Made By..." somewhere in the credits. From the looks of the replies, I suppose I was wrong.
I think I'd like to see better "Golems" maps. All the old ones were done without 1x1 tiles or even ISOM so I think that could help a lot.
I'd also like to see a lot of old RPGs remade, i.e. Nightmare RPG and all the D&D RPGs. With new advancements in map making, a DM could do a lot more and players in the ever-so-fun (in my opinion) Nightmare RPG could do much more.
Though this doesn't quite go wih the idea of remaking old maps, I'd also like to see some original Bound ideas come about. The only new bound types I can think of are "Level Ups" thanks to Mp(U) or NFC-Blutwurst (not sure whose came first), "Bound Tournaments" thanks to FlOoF[V], "Team Tournaments" thanks to Oo.SOLAR.oO, and "Individual Tournaments" thanks to MisTeeq. Even the first "lives system" was original at the time. Those are the kinds of things needed to spark interest in good bounds these days - though i know a lot of you probably hate all bounds altogether.

The bounds I hate these days are the "explosion bounds".
I loved the original bound (snowbound), and I loved bounds that simply were not all explosions. They were clever, and they only had like 1 explosion obstacle. A good example of one of these bounds is IceBound.
I agree with you mind, too many of these bounds are the same things, they are not anything creative, just different patterns, but nothing that will require more thinking to accomplish the goal.
people should make new maps of fun older rpgs commando wars n such
I would't remake them i would just make a better version and add more stuff with a plot and other stuff
Yeah you could always do that to i agree with kouga
i have never had a problem with remaking people's maps, just give credit where it is due. but if you do it yourself, then no worries.
Personally, id like a newer version of one of the oldest games ever... Civilian Madness. (you dont have it? email me a request) its pretty cool. BUt i do agree w/ Tux Temp w/ his idea for a classics map pack
Remakes:
Demon Paradox RPG
Demon Incubus RPG
Dark illusion RPG
Crash RPG
Starwars - Death Star RPG
Resident Evil Maps
Worms
Zelda OOT
all i can think of at this point of time
