To me. Nukes is Death. About around 500,000 to 1,000,000 people will be killed by a 1 nuke. It just depends where it hits. Later in the future. After a Nuclear War is over. And theres still more survivors. That survived the Nuclear Winter. Will start Nuclear Treaties to pervent other Nuclear Wars. After we can travel to other planets. Then history is going to repeat itself again. Thats all I can say at this time.

Naturally, since its all relative. One nuke in America's wasteland would kill some hundred thousand+ and make it even more infertile. Drop one in a densely populated metropolis and you can take out 5% of the countrys total population.

Shadow, you forgot China country with third largest nuclear stockpile. And when you exclude their involvement with Taiwan they also have the common sense not to start a nuclear war. Thats the only other country I say has the "control" to not start a nuke war.

I aint really worried about the countrys with nukes.I am more worried about the terrorist getting them and smuggling em inside countrys and KABOOM!!!! If this does happen i first wanan be atlest 21/ not a virgin/ have a wife/ thats pretty much it.But nukes do play a important role.Without them there be more wars.Maybe america vs russia.You never know.Imagine china having best technology for all of its soldiers and no nukes.Maybe india and china could join forces lol.

But you see thats the thing no terrorist has no way in hell of getting a nuclear weapon. For one they are way too expensive even for someone like Osama with that kind of money. Price or not a country is not going to sell anyone their nuclear stockpile. You could buy half their country before you get any nukes. (which isnt going to happen.

Russians sell nukes....In russia the russian goverment is not in control of most things.Military things like subs and nukes are for sale.Now the nukes are not confirmed but i seen it on tv.Two russian mobsters were selling all kinds of fire power to two fbi agents undercover and at end they offered a nuke.Now i dont believe everyhting i see on tv but you never know.

I used to think America was bad crap, but when you see all the other countries out there, America has the most freedoms and throughout history has tried to influence other countries with democracy which is a good thing. Out of all the countries like Russia, China, USA does not look bad because the people have never been severely oppressed.

Selling a nuke ? and on tv ? please do not buy into this. At the very least try looking up this stuff youself. If you can find 2 or more sources with the same info then believe it. Besides all news stations are biased in some way. And selling a nuke to two undercover FBI agents ? come on now.. do you really believe the goverment of the united states would let this kind of stuff leak on to television ?

Either way, its still possible, but to lead up to the point where two undercovers are offered a friggin' nuke will take years, maybe even decades of follow up work to even get near the point. If someones selling nukes, theyre not gonna just hand it off to any stranger with tons of cash; theyll want credibility and connections.

ok i live near chicago and if sum1 launched a nuke near me and i couldent get away id pray and the nrun right where the nuke is landing and stick my hand up at it and yell "STOP" and then blah blah blah hopefully it doesent explode and just rammes into me and the n i save a big city or w/e

The USA has a giant arsenal of nuclear warheads, many of them attached to missiles (ICBMs or whatever). They have enough to destroy all life on Earth's surface 27 times over (apparently).
Here are some approximate figures of the number of nukes certain countries have:
USA: 10,640
Russia: 8,600 (Most of them mothballed - some of them could end up in the hands of terrorists)
China: 400
France: 350
UK: 200
India: 60-90
Pakistan: 24-48
What role do nukes play? I guess they act as a deterrent. No country with nuclear weapons will want an all-out war with another nuclear capable country, due to the risk of nukes being launched. They are simply too terrible to be used.
EDIT: I do not believe that Russia has much control at all over their nuclear stockpile - the Russian Mafia's reach really does extend a long way, and the country is so poor and nukes fetch such high prices...

Finnaly someone who knows something.Will i didt even know uk had nukes.The thing is there are always goona be new stronger bombs.I believe soon one bomb could destroy the entire planet.It is possible.Also i aint sure which is stronger atomic or hydrogen bombs?I think hydrogen bombs were used on japan right and now are outdated?
