I think Darky had Evilopel? write for him because he is incapable of writing in complete sentences and raising a valid arguement as to why unprotecting is good... Either way they are both wrong as it will not help out the community at all, maybe it'll help out 5% but the other 95% will suffer.

i think this will stop alot of people from making maps, it will make B.net a afull place to play because there will be so many verson a one game and most will be rigged to hell,
and him saying that all the rigged one will go away,hahaha ya right and i was the first man on the moon... people will host the rigged ones because once they played it once and saw it was rigged they will know to be that player very time, i know i use to figur out that one player was rigged and over time i join game with the ssame name i tryed to get that slot

No, protection is not over yet. It won't end untill maps are corrupt if you change 1 little thing. What about hexing the MPQ? Does Starcraft have to read EVERYTHING there?
