I don't know what to say.

You must have a very low self-esteem if you have to focus the whole subject of calling them "indians". The only reason I started talking about it because the way you wrote a post something like "If you are refering to Andrew Jackson, he was awesome. He got rid of the indians." You make it sound like it was a good thing, regardless if it was "the will of the people". If anyone is being a hypocrite, it's you.

And yes, I do know what I am talking about, I have studied American history in quite depth. I do not know how much you know, you may know more, which doesn't mean your right. But, I'm not going to resort to name calling, then question your gender, like you have done to me.

I don't think anyone in this forum has lived through more than a few presidents' terms, so they're not qualified to make any judgements like "who the best president was". You can't trust your freaking textbooks, you have to go out and talk to people who saw political go down way back in the day, and even then you're getting a biased view of events.

Yes, Nozomu, that is very true. Just saying someone is the best or worse, when we all probably didn't live during that president's term is just listening to what we have been taught or read. We do not have the complete story.

I don't know anything about Truman, but you have to be pretty stupid to think Lincoln is good for that reason. ANY president would obviously want to preserve the union, and Lincoln did SUCH A BAD JOB! He chose idiotic generals who fumbled us through the war. We practically lost because of Lincoln's choice in generals even though we had more men, more industry, more railroad tracks, we had everything going for us except what Lincoln was doing.

So...? He got rid of slavery and they replaced it with with black codes instead of slave codes. There was no difference. Besides, I didn't even SAY he didn't get rid of slavery. I said he wanted to kick the blacks out of the United States after they were freed. He didn't want them here at all.

Casualties? Damnit guys! There have been hardly ANY casualties! Only about 1,000. And mind you, thats nothing. More people die from Cigarrete smoking in 2 weeks than the number that died in Iraq in 2 years of fighting!

People who claim the losses in Iraq are huge are idiots. Granted we are doing worse than we were at the start of the war, but it's not as grave as you make it out to be.

1000? I'm 100% sure there are more casulties than 1000. If you're talking about death, then, if you add both sides, it's still a lot more than 1000.

You failed to provide a single shred of evidence supporting your conclusion. All you did was vaguely say that Lincoln was the only person who could have preserved the Union. I think my facts stand for themselves and prove you wrong.

IM SLOW!!! >.< LEAVE ME ALONE but seriously he freed the slaves, he and others believed that the slaves were as equal as anyone else, and thats why he freed them, how is he a racist? he wanted to free the slaves and the southern states wanted to keep the slaves though it was immoral and wrong the only way to preserve the union was to keep them with us because wat they did was the reason we started to seperate and look at the long term results, everyone can own land on it and work wherever they want, the African-Americans arent forced to work on the plantations of South Carolina or any other state!

He didn't believe that. He wanted to kick the blacks out of the country afterrwords but they didn't want to go, because they weren't frmo Africa, they were born right here in the U.S.A. He was a terrible command in chief and appointed idiotic generals. No one could have possibly done a worse job, unless somehow a pro-States' Right's president had been in office. Basically any Democrat could have done a better job than Lincoln. Any one.

I think ( i know) That either George W. Bush, Ronald Reagon, or Nixon were the worst presedents of all time!

Neo: The emancipation proclamation stated that all slaves outside of the Union were free. But outside the Union was the Confederacy who had no reason to listen to Lincoln. So in turn, not a single slave was freed. It was all a ploy to make sure that the border states still supported the North and Britain and France stayed away from American affairs.

Reason people are saying Clinton is the best prez is because at that point, our economy was booming. It just happened to be that Clinton was President at that time and he really didnt contribute to or start up this "boom" or anything.

Best president(s) would be George Washington (he lead our country to freedom), Thomas Jefferson (he wrote the legendary and influential Declaration of independence), Abraham Lincoln (kept our country together during crisis), Theodore Roosevelt (because his head is sculpted on mount something along with the other 3 presidents).

Worst would be... not Bush since he still might have a chance to redeem himself for these next 4 years. But it would be Nixon (since he's the only one who got impeached and was guilty and was forced to resign).

If I remember correctly, he resigned before he was impeached. Clinton was impeached though.

Kinda ironic that Clinton gets impeached for a blow job while Bush doesn't despite the fact that he broke international and constitutional law. Oh how silly our government is.
