Maybe people that play starcraft like to read...but i think they like to read words on papar...not on a screen. That would hurt my eyes =/ What if you like lag out on the fifth of six chapters, they have to start all over? Or could you like select the chapter when you start.

I don't think briefings have text string limits

They do. There's on string database that is used for:
- Map Name.
- Map Description.
- Force Names (Even if you leave them to default).
- Custom Unit Names.
- Location Names (Including Anywhere).
- Switch Names.
- Briefing Texts.
- Briefing Objectives.
- Displayed Texts.
- Objectives.
- Trigger Comments.

Staredit limits this to 1024 and makes copies of identical strings if they're used more than once. However, Starcraft doesn't have this limit, so you can use a lot more strings if you use other programs like SCMDraft+TrigEdit.

A good book to turn into a map would be Ice Station by Matthew Reily, action packed, you could show alot of the text in actions and censored.gif
