I think there should be a little box to the right of the minimap picture with in-game screenshots taken by the reveiwer. (In thumbnail form)

bbcode is enabled so you can add images and attachments

and that'll attach a thumbnail image with the ability to click on it to make it larger. That assumes you already made that attachment somewhere else though. I'll add something somewhere to allow people to upload attachments without being in a post or pm.

that is true, thats why it should only be the trusted regulars, we wouldn't screw anything up....on purpose and we wouldn't abuse the system either, so i say only regulars+ (+ meaning moderators, staff, database, etc. etc.)

No not regulars. Getting regurals is too easy(300 posts), I mean I got that in about 3 weeks.
Maybe adding a new level say 750 or 1000 or something like that + approval from the Map Team/adm/staff then it mishgt be done.
The reason I put such high standards is because I know there are some people who can everything and get there quite easily.
BTW: The Map Team is here to do that job so it's not necesary to have 50 people fighting to review one map. When more Map Team is needed then we will get more people but for the meantime I don't think Regulars will be able to Review maps.

Sugestion: You Regulars could send us Map Team a review and then we post it but with your name as that you did the review not us.

Isolated, i think u should make it so that people can rate a map review, so the map reviewer can tell whether he or she is doing a good job or not.

I think I and the rest of the map team can tell you if you are doing a good job or not. MA. If you somehow missed my opinions about your reviews before, I'll state them again.

You don't have to fight for reviews... you can see old requests and write a review for them also. It's not like the script can only handle one review per map.

I have some things to perfect with the tutorials script and I'm going back to fix up the reviews script again.

I wanted to do that, make screenshots and post them in the map reviews but when i screenshot them, it saves them as .pcx files which are considered invalid files. Can anyone tell me how to convert those to .jpg files?

Two free programs... There are many others around. If you happen to have adobe ps, you can already do it.

What's up with the missing names of the maps but it still has the
"Reviewed by" thing. And my map is missing from the side

And yea those missing names, i deleted two reviews/requests and they just appeared blank like that.

so it happened when you deleted a review you say? because it appears the reason is the whole entire map was deleted.

I think it does. Because Shinra Soldier asked me to delete AE: After Earth RPG as well as teh review. I think i deleted the actual map itself first and then a blank appeared.

Then this other time, one of the map requests was a melee map. I tried to download it but the link was corrupted and i sent a personal message to the author asking him to reload that map. Not getting any response from him for over several days, i just deleted the map and wrote a blank review on that game and deleted it.

Nah... if you delete a file, the review can't find it and the whole sql query dies.

So if there's no file id, it won't find the review id...

It doesn't delete the file if you delete the review. That would just be stupid of me.

Why was I suspended from the map team? I just recently began writing reveiws and shortly after I'm kicked out. What's the deal with that?

Ip has been telling me he's gonna take you out of the Map Team because you were inactive in the DLDB and Map Reviews for a long amount of time.

Yet, I'm doing it now! Ahem, was.

U serious....? Hey he was somehow active; he reviewed my Volleyball map.

And speaking of map reviews... I dont think many people are able to request map reviews. Almost half of those reviews on the map reviews list weren't formally request but the authors PMed me to write a review over it because they couldn't request it.

It's just not about doing reviews... it's also about doing an awesome job managing the files on the dldb.

Well, they would have to be the author of the map first off. Specific examples would help.

Yes and at the same time I stated that I was going to be unable to do the job right away since I didn't have access to my computer, I thought you were aware of that when you added me to the team.

I suppose it's not enough to just beg for the position back, but I am ready to do the job and I was doing it the past few days. So if you don't want the extra help, don't take it.

Isolated, it wont let me submit map reviews. It gives me an error page.
