I believe it should stay there. As a bunch of people in South Park once said, "It's part of our history". That was a great episode.

I think it should be changed. People are perfectly capable of adjusting to a new pledge, they did so in 1952 whent eh works 'Under god' were put into it. I refuse to say the pledge because of the religious content, but they don't care because I'm not American. I am not anti religious, but it should be taken out. I don't like using money that says 'In god we trust' all over it, it gets agitating. people can worsip their gods all they want, but having elementary school kids say the pledge everyday with the religious connection. Religion is also the basis of most problems in the world. Look at the Palestinians and Israelis and the mess they're in. Religion needs to be separated from governemtn for thigns tor un smoothly, or else people keep getting problems and conflicts with each other.
