Actually no. Why wouldnt you just take one pill and gain all your knowledge at once? smile.gif

TOo unreasonable. Taking a pill everyday slowly imports knowledge into your brain. It's just like now in our schools where to learn things best, like math, we need to practice over and over again for a period of time. So each pill you take will have the same info that will overlap and stuff

Average teenager's sleep schedule: 2:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
That's the way we're programmed by nature. Most of the time, it's not that you can't get out of bed, you just don't want to. When you want to do something, you'll be able to get out of bed, and go do it! Maybe the school system should make school more enjoyable, so it'll motivate you to wake up for it, and go. The current school system was set up to work effectively in the mid 1800's, and it did, until around the mid 1950's when teenagers were gaining more independance from their parents, and from authority. Modern teens need to make their own decisions, and not be told what to do by someone who has more power than them, just because of their job/age. According to this notion, the president of the united states could order you to shoot yourself, and there would be no way around it, you'd have to do it. Teachers telling students to do homework, do classwork,do anything they say, is unreasonable. My mom's an education consultant, and here's a section of a research paper she's written: [attachmentid=4472]

my school starts at 7:55 and ends at 2:40.

i hate getting to school so early but i dont think its too early.

personally i think if people got to go to school at 9:00 they would complain about that also and say its too early.

Arg you guys don't know pain of "early" school.

My sister used to take A period, so I would get up at 5:30AM, stay in bed till about 5:35AM, take a shower from 5:38AM to 5:50AM, sit on the top cover of the toliet for no reason from 5:51AM - 5:58AM, eat breakfast from 6:00 AM - 6:23AM, wasting time from 6:23AM to 6:28AM, use the toothbrush from 6:29AM to 6:31AM, get into the car and have her speed all the way to school at 6:55AM, then have to do NOTHING for 1 hour until school starts at 7:50AM (You can't sleep on the school floor because who knows what will happen to you when you wake up crazy.gif )

Also, if we're reguarding "start too early" as in starting of the school year, all the asian countries have around 50 more school days than us. They use Saturdays for school days for crying out loud! blink.gif

So, if you ask me, we Americans, Canadians, and Europeans have it easy (especially Americans, we only have 187 days tongue.gif)

huh.gif How many times to i have to say this? Maybe one more time wont hurt.

If you guys have problemes getting up for school. Get an alerm clock, Or go to bed sooner. Then your body will have no probleme getting up at say 7am or 8am.... disgust.gif

Yea, but as nuclearrabbit says, the average teenagers sleep schedule is 2AM-10AM. Many teens usually go to sleep after the day's date changes.

I was agreeing with you two; I'm just saying people shouldn't whine about it because
1. Asian countries have MORE days of school than Europeans, and
2. I know what it's like to TRULY feel agony from "getting up too early" and I'm not complaining biggrin.gif
It's not that you're too "tired" to get out of bed, its only that your body is naturally conservative, so unless you MAKE it get up and basically throw yourself into gear, you'll just keep sleeping until the sun heats your bed. happy.gif

Edit: Or, just turn yourself into a morning person, like me! biggrin.gif

i went to spain for a couple of weeks, and stayed with a spanish family. school didnt start until 10, and nobody was up before 8.
(but dinner was late at night, 11ish, lunch at 2, out of school at 4:30)
i would prefer such a sechedual over the one i'm on now. its much more stress free and relaxing

7:45-3:00. 180 days usually from after labor day to June 7. 4 periods, 80 minutes long. 90 minutes of lunch (3 lunches), but 2 lunches are silent study hall (lunch rotates in the school). Homeroom is 7:45-8:00. It's a waste of time and so are the extra lunches.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by cfro7211 on 2005-02-05 at 19:03:32
my schedual is 6 periods, 7:35 - 2:35. 55 minute periods, 1 ten minute break, and 30 minute lunch.
