I dont think that placing minoboxes everywhere is a good idea. Just keep the '-' button, saving on cookies or on the DB the option status.

When will I know when to change the maps?

THere's no "set" time. It's not based on a routine. It just comes to you i guess. You can sense it; you can smell it. You'll know when to change it.

Anyway, I'd suggest Legacy of Haean for the map spotlight. It's certainly better than some of the things there already.

Actually, i highly recommend "Dont Click the Flag" to be on the map spotlight

Yea thats why there is a Clan that plays ScV Football and has been around since starcraft began, and ScV Football is still publicly played a lot.

This is not a thread so that you can suggest which maps should be there.
It is clearly stated the DLDB Keepers(Myself and High) and Administration and Staff can change them.

If this keeps up I'll move all those posts and I might make a "Request this map for Front Page" thread.

Oh yea.. not only are those maps old, but Uberena is really ty and even after I gave Moose explicit instructions on how to fix it, he was too lazy to actually do most of it.

One thing I noticed, whenever i click "Latest Submitted Files," it creates a new wnidow, so when I am down downloading, I close it. With the Map Spotlight, it keeps the same window, and when I went to look at some of them, I closed the screen by habit. don't know if this is a problem for anyone else... if it's not, then don't worry about this, but I just found it strange that those two acted slightly differently.

Yeah I didn't make it open to a new page because I didn't take into consideration habits of people.

I don't know, I just think if it was random, we all get a equal chance of getting some spotlight. Salacious makes a good point of putting Moose's map when Yoshi says it's meant for new maps. I think random would be better so that whatever is on, we can all discuss about what we think of it. Maybe we didn't like the map, or maybe it's one of our favorites, but that's what forums are for, to discuss opinions. I think 4 fills up too much space, I'd prefer 3 maps in the light.

Its either 4 or 2 maps. I put old maps because I dont reconize any of the new maps.

Okay I made a "comprimise". The minimize button now lowers the space that each entry takes up by removing some of the new lines and screenshots. So its easier to see whats at the bottom. While you still have to notice when something changes there

You know what else we need? A map making hall of fame.
