I don't think Heimdal should fix Error 53 problems mainly because people shouldn't attemp to move any of the files from the registry.
They should create a shortcut and if they don't like the word shortcut they should rename the icon and remove the word shortcut.
Voila now it looks like the original icon is in your desktop.

My suggestion was adding one more thing that Starforge could do before prompting the error. It helps idiots.

I know it's a stretch but having starforge connect to another friends starforge for duel mapping would be tight 
.
The only thing i would really want sf to have is more stability and a new skin, or customizable skins.

Skin?! Why customizable skins?! Skins suck, they just make programs work slower, have more bugs, and they are waste of time/space

Yes, please forget the skins idea. Besides, that would take too much programming to get to work.
