This is the second thread you've said this in when everyone here knows that's a complete lie.

Bush is a good president, the media just nitpicks the bad things (no president is perfect), and you idiots all listen to what they say and think that's all that happens.

I do hope you're not talking about the news. Cause they almost never nitpick the president. Espeicially the top dog of news. The grand masta of News. The Fox News.

No. If you look at the policies that he tries to get passed, you will how big of a moron he is.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by wesmic da pimp on 2005-07-20 at 23:52:40
He's done so much more good for this country than he has bad, don't even try to argue it. He's better than a lot of presidents in the recent past as well (much better than his father... Jimmy Carter is another one he's been much better than, I could keep going if you would like.)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-07-21 at 00:14:43
He wasn't better than Clinton though... Maybe about the same, or a little less...

haha yeah right. I don't think bush is a bad president because of the media. Also, the reason is because he makes the worst and most mistakes. Also, no he wasnt the worse president that we have had but hes near the bottom.

Guess who running for the democratic party in 2008? Mitt Romney.... Another massachusetts person... I don't like him... We had a blizzard in massachusetts this year which means a state of emergency. You are not supposed to make up the school days for everyday theirs a state of emergency... but bottom hole mitt romney made us go and make up each and every day so i went to school until the end of june... June 28th i think it was...

(at least i heard he was running on the news)

"Mitt Romney" isn't going to be the Democratic Candidate in the 2008 election, it's either going to be Hillary Clinton, Dan Quayle, or John Kerry, which, by the way, all three of these guys are blatently worse than George Bush.

Also, everyone's saying that Bush makes all these mistakes... please give me a list of all the mistakes he's made while in office. And please don't just say "The War", many many positives have happened with this war.

Fox news only has better ratings then it's rivals becuase most people are tired of hearing how horrible and terrible our government/president/country is on other channels.

Because they know it's the truth and that our country is going down the drain.

It happens for four years (eight this time) because the republicans get into office...

Tsk, tsk, tsk....

  • Invaded Iraq without proper grounds or UN sanction (this includes responsibility for over 140,000 Iraqi civillian deaths)
  • Signed the USA Patriot Act
  • Supported drilling in the Arctic
  • Supported tax cuts to the rich
  • Pushed defecit spending, herby quintepling the national debt since he took office

We are a sovereign nation. We need consent from noone, and noone should be able to control us. We make our own decisions and owe loyalties to whom we wish. We need not to answer to the United Nations for every little thing we do. Iraq was a threat, we neutralized them. Period.

I am ignorant on the other topics, so I will leave that to the more educated on that matter.

So you're essentially admitting we should be alllowed to invade other countries becuase we believe they aren't doing things correctly? That it is our right to attempt to establish a government and control over the world? This country was founded on the idea of democracy, and it is a democracy of the world that should decide what happens to the world, not one snobbish well-off country.

No offence to Americans out there, but Bush really blamed up your country...America controls THE most oil in the world about 94% and he sent men and women to Iraq to take the oil away from them and in the process killing inoccent men, women, children, elderly people. Need I continue? All Bush has ever done was start fights, giving everyone a reason to attack him so he can enjoy what ever fun there is nuking someone. Thats all they have ever done, hide behind their desks and order up a round of Atomic Bombs...seriously Bush has got to be THE worste president in THE WORLD!!! Once again, no offence to those who follow him.
By the way im Canadian so of course I wont FULLY understand your country.
And to add to the restof what I said, HE CHEATED TO GET RE-ELECTED!? WTF IS THAT!!??

I agree with you on most of that. But on some, I don't.

He is an idiot, but he is also very smart at the same time.

Did I say smart? I meant manipulative...

And yeah, he did cheat to win the presidency.

For all you Bush supporters out there, actually take some time and thing. Who is the governer of Florida? His brother.....

Coincidence that the polls when you would pick a democrat, would vote for bush........?????

First two are completely war related first of all, second of all, what could possibly be wrong with drilling the Arctic, that's a fabulous idea, are you blind? If we start drilling ANWR, gas prices could nearly be cut in half at some :censored:ing polar bears expense, like we care about a few bears. I don't know if you drive, but I sure as hell don't like to pay $2.30 a gallon for gas.

Yeah, Bush started 9/11 didn't he? He hasn't "nuked" anyone either, he hasn't "ordered up a round of atom bombs".

The 1st TWO are war related? I do hope you're not suppoting the censored.gif act, I mean the patriot act.

As for drilling in artic, I don't know any details on it. I'm guessing you're right on that.

Supported tax cuts for the rich? Didn't this fail in the 80's? And early 90's? I mean, you can trick me once, but you can't uhhhh....can't ummmm....hmmmmm........

The last one is just in your face concrete FACT. I don't care what your opinion is, currently, we are in lots of debt.

Proof here? I have never heard anything about something so drastic as halving gas prices. Even if that were so, the flow of oil from the drilling would not begin to affect the world oil prices until at least 8 years after they begin. During the time, federal funding is much better spent researching ways to drstically improve MPGs earned by cars. If you drive an SUV, and then switch to a hybrid car/van you essential cut the price you spend on gas by at least 60%. Even with your absurd estimation of halving gas prices, this is a better option. Plus researching hybrids doesn't kill or displace any of the rich wildlife in Alaska and it works to avoid the point when we inevitably run out of oil.

OK, first off

News Channels:

ABC
CNBC
MSNBC
CNN(not as much as others)

the list goes on and on.

Second:

I keep hearing that we went into Iraq for oil...ok then...where is my oil? We have been in Iraq for a couple of years, its stablized enough for shipping, where is the oil? Gas prices are stilling rising, where is the oil??? Hey the sky is green, just you wait it will turn green!

Drilling in the Artic: Where we plan to drill has almost no wild life and is extremely remote. Maybe a few animals will be effected, Im talking in the 10-90 range, not more then 100.

Patriot Act: mmm ok so how has it effected you at all? If you are a good person then you have nothing to hide. Are you hiding something o_O????
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-07-24 at 02:58:30
Doesn't change the fact that there are some animals and that the money is better spent.
