That means I put down normal tree bases and rock bases and put the correct tree tops and rock tops on them... No mistakes. I hate using sprites to cover anything.

I do it all the time. Sorry, but my terrain is just hack and slash to get something done. I'm not an artist like Wooden, I don't mind manipulating my terrain so the end user sees only parts of it, or using sprites to cover up problems.

blending is only pixel deep, that's why YOU should try SPRITEPLACE! SPRITEPLACE will get rid of those areas that dont match! You can choose from tree sprites, rock sprites, and even spell sprites!

I am beginning to realize that 17 pages of posts is getting too intense for some new people to get accurate progressive information on the RPG. I will later this week try to have a major update on the starting thread and remember people.

I have started terrain on Continant 3, which is South Western large island. There are 3 major continants and over 9 minor islands which many more unpopulated islands.
I have continued to make alterations with terrain blending and continue to accept ideas from WilhelmEsque, Wrathlord, and Urmom from clan GGG.
Continant #3 is around 72.5% Complete.
-Special Blends 90%
-Reblending Jobs 100%
-Full DDB Addition 60%
-DDB Revamp Runthrough 40%

There are many custom blends, they're sexy. (Sucha s the crashed carrier. STILL MY FAVORITE.)

-Fixed exactly 4 movment bugs
-Fixed several additional mirrored problems

DDB Information
The purpose of the DDB system is to display in a 256x256 map, custom downloadable brush pallet, and Porto-Dad (Copyright pending) to help assist map makers to completely cover their terrain with color intensive doodads to add flavor and originality to your basic terrian.
The collection is masterfully completed and when completed, will be the largest database of perfet-blended doodads for RPGs, Bounds, Defenses, and any other sort of map.

wooden you ought to be a telemarketer or something, you make it all sound so appealing.
Don't forget Wooden that I can help you with some triggering parts. Might I also add that you need to reorganize your triggers a lot because the more you do, the more confusing it gets.
I plan on definitely finishing Alpha Continant 3 (Not Alpha whole map, BIG difference) and just need to reblend maybe 1 more ramp to make it unique and then use DDB,custom grass, custom mud, custom rocky dirt, custom cliff-shaper tiles and I will be done.
I then need to do Water doodads/items around the 3rd continant and extend them out till the next land where I will wait until that land is finished before going to parallel lakes/rivers/seas/oceans with more Water doodads/items.
Testers will not be needed for triggers on Crescent Dyne, although I need more trigger systems done and tested (Please see me online for more details)
I need aesthetics supervisors and critics from Pre Alpha Offical Testers only.
