I will make a small nice staredit Defence
. Some suggestions for judges.
CS or TFC style map. Like hostage rescue or capture the flag.
Arena map.
Madness map.
Melee style castles map.
I also found map made on staredit from my old times. It's a single player Defense

Thats mean. They should be innocent until proven guilty. Also, with the colors...you can make them via alt functions, so...i dunno how you think you can stop them. Just because they aren't SHOWN in staredit doesn't mean they can't be done. And no you don't need to import them from a 3rd party program...so you should just say no colors instead. Because...i could create colors without a 3rd party program but you would never know. You should specify also with 3rd party programs. Does it mean 3rd party STAREDIT programs or just ANY program (even notepad).

I really need to explain "any"? Make your map using only staredit. And what's with the colors, it doesn't improve your map by anything, and using colors does not make your map more creative.

Not even anything. STAREDIT ONLY. You can't make your map on X-tra but make it look like made on staredit. Those maps will be disqualified after first suspicions.

As someone said a couple of pages back, there may be something most people do not realize about StarEdit, and thus a mapper in question should have an opportunity to explain how he did something that looks like it came from a 3rd party program.
If Veritaserum is right and we can find the exact Alt codes for the color tags, then they should by all means be allowed.

try alt 001 - alt 008 for color codes 
as for being guilty until proven innocent, that is pointless, you could say any map you dont want was made in SCXE classic which only has the larger trigger windows and its disqualified....

This always makes the team with the most units the victor.
So i will design a map that involves having to build multiple bases, outposts, and defenses in order to stop your opponent from kicking your booty, the terrain will be specificaly designed for this.oh, and if it isn't obvious enough already this is a mele map.
