[center]No Modification StarEdit UMS Tournament[/center]
Objective
To make the best any-genre UMS map with just regular StarEdit, and make it FUN!
Rules
-No third-party programs. PERIOD.
-Must be a rather original idea.
-Must be unprotected.
-No glitches (This means you farty.)
Other
-Due date Novemeber 10th. (not spooky)
-Partnering is permitted. (prize will be split)
Prizes
1st - 600 + 1/2 of pot.
2nd - 300 + 1/4 of pot.
3rd - 100 + 1/6
Runner Up's (2)- 10 minerals + 1/6 of remaining pot.
Judges:
1. Syphon - Complexity, Terrain.
2. DEAD - Creativity, Balance.
3. Merrell - Trigger usage, Originality.
4. Playar - Rule enforcer, Fun, Length.

What do u mean just normal staredit? Does that mean we can use Scmdradt, X-tra, starforge, but no modding, or just Blizzard's staredit only?

Rather original. it could still be a mass or defence, you just have to throw in some personal flair.

but i think your right lol because we shouldn't really have over 6 judges due to the total ammount of players which are needed for the map

No offence.. but I think you need better judges.. ones that know their map making and their ways around staredit... and more trustworthy ones...

I'm going to have to agree with MrrLL, it wouldn't hurt to have more knowledgeable judges. Or maybe I should say judges which the community recognizes as knowledgeable.

How are you going to make sure that people used only normal staredit anyhow. There are little tricks that are useful, but low-profile that can only done with other editors.
Like your not going to check every single trigger to make positively sure that there are no EUD conditions using Uberation (unless you have no life).

quite easy
just the stuff your not able to do on blizzs staredit :
no square terrains.
not locked.
no colors.
no alrdy stacked stuff. (atleast i think not)
no spirites
i think thats about it
not sure though there might be more
