happy.gif sorry

hey, about the DLDB, I think that there should be two copies of every map:
One with all sound files, one without.
That way people could choose which one.

ADDITION:
I can close tags

ADDITION:
lol, dumb button.

I know that it would suck a lot of resources but how about "nod a member". It would be like if I go to members profile I can nod him with a sound. So he would check his posts or just refresh the page. Also it would need ignore nod option so none can nod you all the time.

Also subscribe topic should have some more options. Like receive a PM or always have topic on control panel.

Do you mean like an approval/disapproval of a post or something of that member? I've seen some other forums do stuff like that; it would be cool.

No, that would be something like ignore. It would be cool too.

But what I meant was like I go to your profile->click on "nod member"->you get a sound and small message "nodded by DEAD". You could choose that sound and you could disable/enable nodding.

Maybe make it so that when the user's name is italic (replying) at the "Users reading this forum/topic" thing at the bottom, you can hold your mouse over it and see what topic they're replying in.

Why not just submit two maps? Why should the DLDBM have to remove all the sounds? It's easier to submit two maps anyway, seeings how it would disable any triggers with sounds if you just deleted the sounds from teh directory.

Meh if I were elected I would do it, and remove all disabled triggers from sound heavy maps (hint hint \/ \/)

No one has rights to choose to remove sounds. Sorry.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Caboose on 2005-09-08 at 19:39:19

I would do it one better if I was elected. I'm homeschooled I have sooo much time to kill.
Vote For Caboose, The Manchurian Candidate. (DLDB 2005) Vote For Demaris, UMS 2005.

CAn you give us an estimate for completion? I thought this would be finished over the summer, or at least done by late August.

I would seek out the authors permission first.

ADDITION:
V5 Should have a comand similar to the slash me command.

*Voyager7456(MM) says it already has a "/me" command.

Just click their profile, it has a thing for "This person is active in topic X" or where the person is, like at the main page or in a forum or whatever.

Voyager is saying that when you put your mouse over their name when they are "replying," you can see what they are typing in.

I think that is a bad idea voyager, very bad. Then people would be like "WARHAMMA IS GOING TO SAY ____" and warhamma will post it.

I think posts should come as a surprise, too.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-09-14 at 01:35:24
No, Voy wants to see which topic they're replying in, not what they're typing.

Again, can someone tell me when v5 is likely to be completed? All the previous estimates turned out wrong
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Merrell on 2005-09-14 at 16:17:33
It's coming as a surprise. It could come 5 minutes from now, tomorrow, a year from now, we just don't know. v5 is currently being worked on, I noticed how they blocked off the viewage to it cry.gif (you now require a password)
