No. I wasn't trying to be funny. You really shouldn't put words in my mouth. And I explained that I may have exaggerated and blended B.net newb/uber cycles with this.
But as far as overlaps go, what you say is right. Overlaps are not really even necessary. People should just stop being a nitpicker and try to add colors and overlaps. They are not all that necessary, and if you find the alt-codes, then by all means, use them.

They were probably made from a third party editor, then opened in an unprotected form of a map with them (because colors and overlaps are not deleted, incase anyone does not know), and then copied. Indirectly that is using a third party program. Technically.

At least make sure they work. If the judges say they work, then we can use them without fear. Unless they SAY they don't work, but they work for everyone else. Then we have a bigger problem.

Due to the overwhelming :censored:ing and spam I'm restricting any and all usage of overlaps and colours to none, kenoli's being disqualified for not telling us alt codes. If you have colours take them out.

To DEAD:
I dislike how you like to take control of others' ideas. This contest I can understand because syphon put you in charge. Though with MRS), you just took control without a single sign of permission, then you end up blowing it off aka " on hold ". Second thing, your close-minded. Take kenoli's case for example. I specifically said, he was granted permission by syphon that he was allowed to use colour and overlap tabs. No one ever specified where those tabs would come from. But you just kept on coming back at me looking for errors wording.
To Syphon:
You gotta start having a sense of opinion and take control. If you didn't want to take control of your own contest, then why did you start it? And there's no point in following someone else's opinion because he seems to be the "cool kid".
If I'm wrong and that really is your opinion, then I apologize. But from the looks of it, your just following DEAD. Also, I think the "better judge knocks off badder judge" system really...sucks. People have feelings too. By doing this, your hurting their self-confidence. Take Playar for example.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate you guys. I just think this contest would have been ran better if you improved on some things.(Not saying I'm perfect myself)
So, if this contest does as well as I'd hope, GgG-PlayaR can take my spot.

Don't bother with the alt codes that Legacy gave to us. Most of them are question marks. The only exception is Alt+7, which is the letter "e".

OK. Sniper if you will remember MRS at the beginning was nothing but idea with EDU77 who had no time to even add a small reply from time to time. I dragged MRS out, made rules and lists. People started to actually do something. I also made our meetings. I actually did something. And you will not be the one who will tell me something about MRS, you quit in that critic time when we needed active members. You don't like the "on hold" status? It's not my fault, people just became inactive. No one came to meetings. But MRS actually finished at least 1 map. What you wanted that MRS would stay at just idea status? So don't come back saying that I did something wrong about it ever again. Do you copy this?!?

I'm still running the contest, just not as actively I only followed with DEAD because people wouldn't stop :censored:ing aboutt he colours and tabs. They weren't originally aloud and they aren't again.
I talk to DEAD at length about contest descision then I enforce them.
I believe he was right in not trusting the overlaps and I originally said "If they can give us their sorce" when I aloud colours.

I didn't say you didn't do anything. I said you took control without permission. Did we vote? No. Did we TELL you to take control? No. I don't like telling people who they are but you left me no choice. You weren't the most known person on SEN at the time were you? Do you expect people to follow a person they just met because he joined a team of map makers?
