Hey, I don't think you guys heard me:
String colors, especially those4 of strings where certain colors cant be used, get :censored:ed up when you create them in SF and edit/view them in SCMD, and vice versa. This can get really frustrating.

If you have a sample map where this happens when opening / doing something in scmdraft and a step by step way of recreating it I would like it. I have heard a few reports of this but havn't ever been able to track it down.
Of course, before I didn't even know it was caused by interaction with SF so this is progress.
The trigger editor seems to mess up EUD conditions by changing the unit id from whatever to 228.
Mmh, I got this bug, after saving my map with SCMDraft
Trigedit: Something bad has happend, would you like to save the Diagnostic file? <Yes
Saved file to bla bla, please report the dmp to DW or SI including a description about what you where doing before it crashed.
Well, first of all, I didnt use trigedit, and second of all, (This might sound kinda noobie) what/who is DW or SI?
And third, does anyone know what the ''bad thing that happend'' is?
I tested the map, but nothing seems to be bugged, changed or missing.
Oh yes, I get this everytime I try to save or quit from SCMDraft, even with not having a map open.
Also, I get a warning that something is missing from a .Dll file, when I start it. It starts anyway, and worked perfectly after giving the warning.

You know, it'd be nice if you told us...
1. Which version of SCMD2 you're using.
2. What the .dll file that it says it's missing is.
etc.
SI is the creator of the program, DW helps him, most notably with the .mpq stuff and he's also porting SCMD2 to Mac.

Im using SCMDraft 2.0 (Beta 0.5.5)
Cant find entrypoint from procedure RichEdit10ANSIwndProc in DLL-File RICHED20.dll.
Anyway, I got sc installed twice on my computer. (yes.. one got corrupted, but the editors still work) But SCMDraft does work on the other Directory, the corrupted one, but gives the same .Dll error.

try the 0.6.0 prerelease 2, tell me if it still happens.
The richedit just means you cant use either trigger editor, they both need it, and possible not the text output.

Runtime Error!
Program: E:\Games\StarCraft\ScmDraft 2.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Thats all.

what windows version? I havn't seen that before, lets see what we can figure out.
Windows XP, thats all I can tell u at the moment.
Here's some Trigedit bugs for you. You cannot Enable, Disable, or Toggle for the Set Doodad State. It just puts unknown. Also, you cannot use Player 12. Please fix!

Are you sure you have the latest? I think the enable / disable / toggle has been fixed
Meh, the SCMDraft in my other SC directory started giving the same errors, so I've installed it without any sc directory around it. It works perfectly, but for how long?
is the riched.dll in your SC directory corrupted or something? that can explain the crashes and the error message.
Mmh, maybe. Do u know any place where I could download it, or should I google for it?
I might have the same problem, because my trigedit (latest version) doesn't do anything. I click in the area, type, blah, blah and NOTHING happens. No "I" cursor thing, can't type...
When I start up SCM draft, it says I have a rich20.dll error or something like that.
Alright, i am a noob to this whole modding thing and I recently installed Scm Draft 2.0 (Beta 5.5) and whenever I use one fo the new colours available, Starcraft can't play any of my maps that use the new player colours.
I was wondering how to get starcraft to work with the new colours available in Scm Draft 2.0;
Pale Yellow
Blueish Grey
Pale Green
Green
Tan
Dark Aqua
Cyan
I am running on Windows XP and I have Starcraft and its expansion.
Thank you any help on fixing this annoying problem would be great
BUT HOW CAN THE GAME NOT WORK JUST BECAUSE OF A LITTLE COLOUR CHANGE! JEEZ!
Basically, any player or computer that dosent have the original colours does not appear in starcraft, and it says there are no human participants!
Make sure you placed their start locations.
There is also a little bug about the locations for moving neutral units (player 12). I noticed when trying to move a bc to a certain area.
That is because Starforge switched all of the players to 'unused'. Go to the map description part thing and then change them to human/computer/neutral/etc.
I don't like your attitude.
You're robably doing something wrong, extended player colors work just fine. Random start locations?...
Canadas_Modding_Prodigy, what are you doing?
All you need to post is:
QUOTE(Real Statement)
The player color coding does not work in StarCraft.
ADDITION:
QUOTE(Another Real Statement)
Why are the players 9-12 Unused?
Hmmmm...How on earth does anyone get those new colours to work?
It seems impossible due to the fact that starcraft randomizes all the colours, in every battle, and the randomization set is withinn the original colours, so...unfortunately, it is impossible to play a map with the new colours, done and done. Don't worry about, it now, Ive already given up anyway...
By the way...I created a map with scm draft, and it dosent seem to work...could someone try to fix it and send it back to me please?
Thank You For Your Patience with my extremely passive attitude.
Colors only work on Brood War maps.
