Bugs in scmdraft are just a myth smile.gif

If you post a bug, post the version of scmdraft, your OS, and any other information you feel is relevant (or you wanna show off with wink.gif )

I'm not sure if it's just me, but sometimes, when I move my menus around or try to do some terrain, SCMDraft automatically crashes. It shows up the "SCMDraft 2 is not responding and needs to close" window. (Which I hate)

That sounds like a system resources problem. What are the specs for your computer?

That sounds like a specially made OS specifically for working with media types. I seriously doubt that all programs will be compatable with it, especially not ones that were not professionally made. (by Companies I mean, no offense to Suicidal Insanity)

I was doing some terrain on my RPG, and once finished I went to test it.
Nothing. It was all gone. It wasn't the wrong map, because the sprite/unit placement all worked fine and was still there, but the terrain is just ... missing.

Also, when placing certain doodads in full using the Terrain function (Going to the Terrain Palette, creating the doodad with every 1x1 square), sometimes the terrain will be as if it was a doodad, but not there.

I.E. I placed a cliff doodad, in full, in my RPG, using 1x1 squares with the Terrain Palette. When I went to see it, it was missing. Gone in the editor, as well (When I reopened). Later, I instead used the Doodad Palette and placed the same doodad in the same spot, and it stayed.

Not sure if these are known, but they're starting to irritate me (Don't want to resort to SF for the horrible ISOM).

Have you tried placing the Doodad then Right Click -> Convert to terrain?

this is #7? I havn't seen any similar bugs yet besides 1 in #3 that prevented the edited terrain from showing up in SC itself.

Nevermind. blushing.gif I kept getting a 'Download Update" in SCMDraft, so I did it and it said completed; I thought that would just install the latest version (Apparently not). This was #1. I reinstalled #7 and haven't gotten the problem since. ermm.gif

THAT was the first problem I had.

You mean to a drive?

Try saving it somewhere where there is a lot of space. These are full scale images. Usually mine are about a couple of megs.

how large was the map and how much room was free on ther USB stick?

the drive was not nearly full, but I told it to save to the C: drive

So SCMDraft 2 was ON the flash drive?

No, the map was.

The checkbox in the master settings that says: "Trigedit uses custom names" doesn't work. My guess is that it is one of those wishful thinking features, sort like the unit view range thingy was in starforge.

ADDITION:
Oh ya, Prerealce #8 SCMDraft2.
Windows xp etc.

This is a seperate bug. I opened a map with 2500+ string. Made 1 string. Everything was fine. Made another string. Crash.
I have the diagnositc file. But it won't let me upload it to SEN.
