Actually, I will check this tomorrow and see if you are extending it. I am just getting familiar with the Jungle tileset right now, so I wont be done for a while.

Wow, DK. That is simply fantastic. Truly a work of art. I especially like how calm the water looks, and those shadows really give it that atmosphere.

If theres one bad thing bad about it, is that it uses too much sprites. Now im not one of these people that hates sprites, but if something uses too much, it just don't have that much use in an rpg or something.

That's pretty good, but it looks more like a dark forest than a swamp. The sprite count did make me wince, though.

The one I was making was meant to be terrain-only, and though it does look decent as is, it doesn't look as good as that. But that could change if I added sprites to it. wink.gif

Well with the eve of the compitition at hand, I guess I can post my terrain. IT's not as good as Deathknight's but it uses less sprites. (I think) THe picture doesn't doo it justice though. As there are cloaked units under the marine, which move. They never blur him out though, which I found to be pretty cool. The most they will do is cover up his waist, which looks like a sorta weird water. This was the key aspect of the swamp I made, and it is sad that it never came out.

Yea it would be cool for an RPG. At night it moves cloak barracks (got idea from DK) to the swamp.

EDIT: I just realized i didn't get goodp icture where more water was, but you can see where i was going. I just had water and marsh everywhere.

Blah, I have other projects to attend to. I'll just post the early version I have with me right now. My better one is at home (smoother tiles, vespene puff effects, vegetation, etc.).
