Actually, though i pretty much believe in god. I dont like Church. I would rather not spend my whole Sunday (and other parts of the week) singing dumb hymms from a book. But, it is how it is.

The reason I don't believe is because one, I don't see the point, and two, I never really believed. I have better things to do around the house like clean than go to chruch, imo.

Well this "burden of proof" ordeal is (excuse me...) pissing me off. How the hell are YOU going to prove we were made from a giant ball of gas? None of us were alive when this apparent thing happened. It wasn't documented. The Bible is. Many people were alive. many people told OTHER stories about Jesus and God. Of course I am just using a common theory for atheists(we were made form Big Bang Theory). Nobody said doing the right thing would be fun. Disregard that notion. Church is boring, yes, deal with it. You won't die form it and it is much better than NOT believing and when it is true you urn for eternity. I think I won't take any chances and just be safe...hmm. The name of the topic is "Your religious status". That implies it is to discuss religion, and nowhere in his first post does it say NOT to argue. I find it perfectly alright.

They say burden of proof is on us. Then again we can put it on them. It works either way.

Maybe the burden of proof thing is pissing you off, because it nails you right in the heart.

No it doesn't "nail me". As with everything it is impossible to prove something existed unless you were there. At least for Jesus we have mulitple accounts of people saying they knew of his Works(that means miracles FYI ). The Bible was written for Him. And if you want to get all scientific on me, they have found evidence He did exist. Being religious I think it was just a ploy but I have faith He was real. Show me the recorded documents of the Big Bang. Of evolution. Name some people who witnessed it. Oh...it was "billions of years ago"? Nobody was alive? Convenient, eh?

So, if you don't go to church you burn in hell? Well, the failure of that argument is that you don't have an idea either. It could, of course, actually send you to hell. I know I wouldn't want millions of people singing hymns to me every Sunday. Indecisiveman, I think there are better conversion methods then scare tactics. By the way, this not about questioning the theory of evolution or the theory of creationism, (both require a good amount of faith, and neither is doubtlessly provable), it's simply to state what you believe AND NOTHING MORE. This topic is NOT for debate, this topic is simply a poll.
