For those who don't understand what some of those means:
Monotheist: The belief in one god. Examples would be Christianity, Catholicism.
Polytheist: The belief in more than one god. Example would be Budism.
(there are a couple variations on Polytheism but to keep it simple I generalized)
Atheism: The belief that there is no god.
Agnosticism: The belief that one cannot truly know whether or not there is/are gods. Skepticism, basically.
I, personally, am an agnostic.
WTF!
Why do you wish to know this, so you can line the Christians up in a firing line, and kill us all!?
I'm a confused Monothesit.
-Christian-
I'm not here to attack anyone's religion, I'm just curious. I have found that a lot of the people I know and are friends with are actually Agnostic or Atheist.
[07:24 PM] ChuiChu Train: have you ever seen a poll on what religion people are?
[07:24 PM] (*) (Grounded):

heads?
[07:24 PM] (*) (Grounded): Dumbasses?
[07:25 PM] ChuiChu Train: is that a no?
[07:25 PM] (*) (Grounded): Retards who need to confide in a fake god to make they're are wishes heard?
[07:25 PM] (*) (Grounded): No.
[07:25 PM] (*) (Grounded): But that's what I think of religion.

Polytheistic
......This is a random poll, but hey.
That mono thingy, catholic.
I'm agnostic. The issue isn't important enough for me to make up my mind. I'm inclined to believe there isn't one, though.
monotheistic
---Catholic---
There is no god

Atheist 4 life xD
Soft atheist, which means until I see evidence of a God I will continue to claim that there is none. But that doesn't mean I discount the possibility of one.

Technically you'd be agnostic, but wth... who am I to fetch the '(name) labeler'.

I belive in only one god. What you think is your opinion. Some people say I force my beliefs on them, when they try to force their opinion that they don't belive in god on me. I am not saying that anyone here did it I have just had it happen to me before. I am aswell tired of the stop posting religious comments messages. If we weren't allowed to post about religious topics they would be deleted or locked. Which most aren't. This si my opinion and I mean no harm to anyone.

I don't go to or even know what the warboards are for. Plus, that topic is completely different from this one. Plus, you ARE the fruitcake of SEN.

Atheist.
I've gone thru things, saw places, and heard things that made me sure on this one.
Evenn if I'll get a proof that there is a God I won't believe it.
It's an undefineble being, all knowing, that controls all, and loves all, in a world full of pain and suffering, that was created by low-educated people thousands or years ago.
He/it causes hatered, racism, anti-developing, and yet again - pointless hatered.
God, if you hear me,
and you shall,
screw you,
and go to hell!

Well?
Even the mods in this board have more power than this mass-believed superstition.
***Notice*** if you were somehow offended by my post realise that I'm just trying to explain why I don't believe in god and/will/or hate him if he does exist.

*Cough*Yoshi,
Tux' Temp.,
Nozumu*Cough*Forgive my blatant assumption.

And the topic also comtemplated the religious stance of it's debaters. But that isn't a big fuss to me at all...

*Lol* As if that affects me.
My point in there is that 'normal' patterns are highly overrated n' overestimated.

I've seen many people's reasonings for why they dont believe in God. Most of them i can see/understand why they take that stance. But there's one which i just cannot particularly understand. It's the one where people say "I wont believe God exists until i see him" and say that's their only reason.
We could use that analogy for just about... anything. By using this, we can conclude that George Washington, the creator/founder of the United States of America, never existed. There's no visual proof that he existed; letters and books that say he existed don't mean he exist. So basically in order to believe that george washington ever existed, we have to see him visually.
But then of course, there are many other different ways of interpreting this...
I think when people mean they "see proof" I think they mean some scientific evidence that can be concluded logically. If some people take it literally, then they are the kinds of people who only believe in like here and now and what they have lived through.

Actually i meant "... It's the one where people say 'I wont believe God exists until i
see him myself' and..." That's what they mean actually.
Religion as I see it is a tool. People hate functioning in uncertainty, and even go as far as to make up superstitions and imaginary rules and taboos just to have some system to function by. Without it, they feel naked. There's a quote that says "There's no athiests on the battlefield.", or something to that effect. When people are forced into situations they have no control over, and must make decisions that go beyond their primal drives, it helps to have something "greater" to fall back on.
That's what religion is for. Instead of letting people make up their own arbitrary superstitions and taboos, organized religions have been formed in all major societies as a standardized system of superstitions/taboos for people to go by in mass to help them function in daily life.
I shudder to think were we'd be without it. Though at the same time, in this day and age, I wish people would come up with something better. Looking at it from a distance, it just seems to me to be a little bit silly, IMO.
Monotheist -> Christian -> Lutheran
Monotheistic Christian -> Covenant right now. But Bahai has piqued my interest...if anyone has info on that they should tell me
