I feel quite sure that there are aliens. Weather there peaceful or warlike depends on other things. Maybe they're smart enough not to have wars blink.gif
Or maybe they're smart enough to make better weapons and fight wars for the heck of it.. We never no because we havn't reached that level yet and havn't faced the same problems. As for black holes, yes they might be wormholes , or they might do the equivalent of bangin.gif bash.gif chair.gif pokey.gif . We never no until we no ermm.gif . There might be a 'dimension' outside of time, where beings can visit time. (dont ask)

You see, we can be as smart as the aliens philosophy wise, but the thing is, only a small percentage of us can right now. Maybe less than 2,000 people period. (Or maybe even no one at all) But the major problem is to make everyone else in this world have the same BASIC beliefs as the truly enlightened people do.

BTW - Go check out the game, "Destroy all Humans!" It's great.

I don't see why people think Aliens HAVE to be more intelligent than people. Maybe we are the smartest in the universe? Maybe the reason we haven't seen Aliens coming into earth is that they aren't technologically advanced enough. Maybe they are just as advanced as us?

Yeah, I agree. Aliens might be even less advanced than us.

Heck, humans might be the Martians in a War of The Worlds scenario for aliens.

my definition of living is something that moves... that has free will of thinking, acting and etc.
See? Have you seen meet the fockers? Moses a dog who humps anything that moves... its a dog... stupid but humps anything that moves. simple

First of all, bacteria and other single-celled organisms don't have free will, thinking, or acting according to that thinking. Theyre closer to robots *aims gun at nearest robot* trust me i know *BOOOM*. Life is quite sure to exist. do ppl no how big the universe is? No. (mostly because by the time u think of a number the universe increases some more, if the big bang theory is to be believed). Life on earth started as single-celled. Jellyfish were a long way away. If we find jellyfish on other planets i'm happy. Only problem is i won't live to see them evolve sad.gif

I learned this in 7th grade, and to be living things had to have metabolism, homeostasis, reproduce and some other things.

Is it possible that black holes is a kind of hyperspace  huh.gif  If it is we could use them to travel much faster trough the universe  mellow.gif  (Never ask me to test it...)

Jesus people it's not a hole!! It's a super-dense ball of matter from an imploded giant star that had so much gravity after it imploded it started sucking in everything and expanding it's gravitational field.

If it was a hole, then, the more matter that got sucked it, the weaker they would get. That's not the case because we've seen unreachable objects by a black hole start moving after a star was fully engulfed.

For something to be alive, it needs to:
Reproduce
Make Waste
Consume Food
React to environment
Grow

I think there is 1 more... I'm not sure.
