The only real disease that kicked us back was the Black Plauge, and there aren't any diseases yet that have kicked us back. Each census that happens, our population is larger and larger, though the boast is not as it use to be, it will be. Scientists are finding was to prevent against AID's, though not really now there aren't much options for it, but they are tying.

Did you know that the HIV changes from person to person? That is why it is so hard to make a vaccine for it, it changes often. But, cancer we can kill it at early stages, a lot of them. You just need to identify them in time. But this is not available in a lot of areas, it is mainly available in the other nations.

Medical science is increasing a lot, and they are desperately trying hard to find cures, every thing they learn brings them closer to curing it. I am sorry if you don't think scientists are doing their job and trying to help the world. But they are.

I highly doubt that in some time soon (Soon being the key word) that some virus is going to lurk about and kill us, it takes time for new viruses to emerge, the deadly ones that are already in our time period aren't as much of a threat, and scientists are working hard to create antidotes and vaccines. It is not easy to work on it, I'd like to see you try.

Though viruses will always be around, they will be more controlled in the near future. The only real thing that can take us down quick is a World War III where every country starts killing each other, or a Nuclear War, which, by the way, isn't going to happen for some time, if not never. I am not saying that it is not possible, I am saying that it most likely will not happen (Though some Atomic bombs may be launched and kill lots of population, I highly doubt that every Silo all of the sudden is going to be launched). I favor possibilities, and what most likely will happen. Though they might still be possible.

Umm, like each US census? Because I know for a fact that the US population is getting smaller. It may look like the population is getting larger and right now it actually is, but actually there are less and less children being born, so once all the adults now die off the population will plumet. Most parents right now are having 1 or 2 children, which obviously is not enough to keep a population steady.

Having one or two, mainly two, is fine to keep the population, because it justs evens out them, because there are some families that have more. Something that I saw yesterday made me laugh somewhat, but it really isn't to funny. A family from New Orleans came to our humble state before the Hurricane, and those parents, and grandparents, by themselves, had eleven Children/Grandchildren. (No extra parents, only two) Anyways, most families tend to have around 1-3 Children, but there are some families that have a lot, I mean a lot. This way, a maintained rate... Then overwhelming rate will take part. A lot of United States population is being influcened by immigrants.

You really haven't looked at any sutdies on US population have you? Ever hear of the backwards pyramid? Because that is whats happening now.
