In my opinion, I think that the Human population is increasing way to fast, and as it increasing, the need for food will become more, and the need of space.

When the need of room comes into play, Forests are cut down, many species die, and they area still is crowded. People need to control those urges to a low number of family members, there is no reason to need to have overwhelming numbers, I am a person who likes privacy, and would do a lot for it.

But with the numbers increasing at a rapid rate, this will not last long, laws should be made to limit familys to two or less children. There should, however be an execption to Triplets and above.

But as our race increasing, everything else decreases. Earth is dying from all the population trash, and everything. We cannot keep up with the needs of everyone, and people will everntully starve to death. The need for colonies outside of Earth will grow, because we cannot handle to big impact of our increase.

Actually, it's slowing down in all of the major countries, and in most of the third world countires people are being killed by desease a lot (AIDS and some others), the population it supposed to spike every once in a while, if you have ever studied ecology you should know that. Infact in the US & Canada the population will be way to small to support the larger older population (which will be retired) so that the need for population growth will be incredibly high. If there is anyhitng you should be worying about it should be that you won't be able to support yourself because of increasing taxes.

AIDs and other diseases are alot of times STDs and are easy to avoid (Unless giving from birth) And the world is increasing fast, if you Study Biology and Ecology, not just Ecology, you find out that Scientists are trying to find a way to maintain the problem, one way is Cloning plants, and using leftover Potato wastes made from French Fries.

When they are testing the cloning of the plants, they are adding some good side effects, and reducing the needs of Pesticides and other chemicals. Scientists are desperatlty trying to find a way to solve our increasing problem, perhaps you should search on some sites to find this out.

Statistics show that the human birth rate is slowing down across the world.

And besides, the earth has survived massive heat and cold waves, radiation bombardment from the sun, volcanos, plagues, meteors, etc. I think it's awfully arrogant of us to think that WE could destroy the earth. We may kill ourselves, but the planet will be fine. There have been periods in the earth's history where nearly 95% of all life was wiped out in some kind of catastrophe, but then recovered over time. Over 99.9% of all species that have EVER lived are gone now! We didn't kill them all.

The way I see it, if we end up killing ourselves off, then we deserved it. To the earth, we're nothing more than irritating fleas.

India has the highest birth rate out of any of the big countries in the world. Soon they'll outnumber the chinese people and be everywhere.

They're trying to stop the massive population growth with dozens of different types of birth control.

The best birth control method is Abstinence. Unfortunately most males out there are too horny and lose control and get their girls going.

And, yes, since India has no Limit to family size, they will out number China, because China does have a limit. India is one big place, and continues to grow...

I also noticed that the Whites (and some asians) in North America only have usually 1-2 kids per household whereas other races (like blacks, mexicans) have like 3-5.

Though I am NOT rasicts, in my experience, yes that seems to be true... I hate to be rasicts on this statement, but I am inclined to agree. (I am not saying you are ethier)

Actually, I think asians tend to have the most kids. (From experince.) They were just brought up like that.

Disease and War control the population. o_O

The only Diesesea that really are hard to dodge are really Cancer, and other related dieseaes that you do not get like STD's. STD's are easily avoided deseases (Unless if raped, or given it from birth, which ins't the main factor, but does happen).

Some parts of Asia tend to have more, but I would think that most of them are more controlled...

HELLZ Yeah!!!1! I wouldn't worry. If we're the bad guys for the earth, then we'll die off eventually. The bad guys always lose in the end.

If you're all scared that the world will over populate, impossible. There is way to much space still left.

And the "starvation" part. -_- We throw away sooooooooooo much food that could be saved.

It already is over populated in many areas, I can't go for a minute without seeing a car pass by, and I live in an isolated area, which more and more I keep seeing more cars drive by (Not that I look every day at the road outside of my house, I am normallyworking on something inside) And everywhere I go that is puiblic has hundreds, if not thousands of people around, I am not good in tight spaces, and people around me, in large numbers, makes me feel sick, I just hate to see so many people around.

And, as I stated before, yes food is being wasted, and we could use them to feed other animals, and actually some of the are nutrient rich, and can be used for good soil. But starcation won't take place for a long time, but it will happen in so numerous years.

We are only "Overpopulated" because we are so densly populated....

I don't blame ya. I don't really like em either...

But back to the topic: I think there will be a crash in population at some point. If you look at history, you'll see population rise and fall.

Of course, at the end of the day(or century, what have you) the TOTAL population has still risen, kinda like the value of the stock market does.

Still though, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Me, Kellimus, and a few others have said it already. The earth will be fine!

Where we are speading out though, is into some forests, and killing alot of trees. And, also, a lot of species, and it will continue to happen, each year the population grows more massivly then before, the only real way that we are going to be kicked back, is if a Nuclear War or something else in the same category.

Which, that may happen in time, but is not going to happen for a while, also, the possibilty of a World War III might come in, but, again, that won't be for a while. Something like Skynet may happen also, but that is really one of the lesser things that may happen.

This is true and eventually we will eather need to figure out a way to recycle poop and stuff to make more energy or something else

Condom efficieny is not the problem, it's a lack of condoms to be efficient.
