Short version of what I said in the Orleans Scanner topic:

BUSH IS A  censored.gif RETARD FOR SAYING THAT WAR DOESN'T DEPLETE RESOURCES! HELL, I JUST GOT OFF CIVILIZATION THREE AND EVEN IN THAT WAR TAKES MONEY, NATURAL RESOURCES AND LIVES! WHO THE  censored.gif DID WE ELLECT FOR A SECOND TERM?

Well who the censored.gif did the democrats choose to run against bush? Obviously someone that wasn't any better, otherwise he would've won.

Er... Better doesn't always mean they'll win. If you actually WATCHED the debates, Kerry owned Bush everytime so badly.

Guess what? The people don't care. They think being a republican MUST be a vote for Bush. How pathetic. So much for the goal of the educational system.

If the average voter in America was as smart as you or I. I would take what you said to be dead on true. But sadly....they're not.

It's times like these that everyone has the tendency to blame the authorities even when it really isn't completely their fault.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by mr.ex on 2005-09-05 at 23:47:00
it isnt COMPLETLY there fault but they do have something to with it
its not really all there fault, you could blame anyone about it

Every person who posts about how bad it is makes it seem worse than the last, this is going to become an urban legend soon. IT"S THE NEW ORLEANDERS FAULT.

O, boo hoo, I don't have a car. YOU FAT PIECE OF blam, WALK! And don't gimme that they can't, people did it all the time before fast food and motorcars.

If you heard a hurricane was coming would you a) stay? or b) get walking along the highway?

If you pick a) you deserve to be hit by a catagory 5 while you're swimming in your pool.

Same here, they just report the things that look nice on air, not what is really going on. There is so much propaganda and crap you don't get a straight story from anyone. I find it sick that people would use a catastophe like this to bash bush.

Its primarily the Governer's fault, she didn't have a worst-case senario plan in place, even after last year's hurricane scares. She had about 8,500 police and national gaurd at the ready and they thought that was enough? .......The list goes on and on....
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-09-07 at 13:16:08
How is it the governments fault? It's the governments fault for peoples stupidity?

The government has nothing to do with this. The city of New Orlean is the one at fault. They are the morons for building on a FLOOD PLAIN!

Sure, the government is faulty in some things. But trying to blame them for mother nature telling idiots, "Hey look man. I'm going to show you guys that i'm not going to be taken lightly. Here is one big ass mother:censored:ing hurricane that is going to flood your damn city!" is just plain ludicris!

IT'S NOT THE GOVERNMENTS FAULT FOR PEOPLES STUPIDITY!

And don't try to blame ANYTHING on the government that has to deal with this. They did what they could. Which was alert the people, and tell them to evacuate.

So don't try to blame this on anyone but the dumb wonderful friends who were warned, clear back in the old days, that it would be a mistake to build on a mother:censored:ing flood plain!

And I just re-read what you said S.T.A.R.S, and that is as arogent as you can get.

You're blaming the government for underestimating something that wasn't even a big storm? (The huricane wasn't even categorized as a big one) That is true arogence right there.

It is not their fault that they took the facts and "Under prepared" for a "cataclysmic" event. People censored.gif up. Whipty do! Don't try to blame the very element that makes it so you can talk blam on people and get away with it.

You tell everyone here that we take our freedoms for granted? Seems like you're taking them for granted waaaaay more then anyone else here. You have the decency to talk blam on the government when they "under prepared"?

Oh the arogence of some. And even the ignorance.

Please. Tell us all this "list" that you have seemed to compile about how it is the governments fault. I bet all the members here would just love to hear what you have to come up with.

I sure would.

And if you ask me why the sudden sticking up for the government when I would always dog on it.

One phrase: The President is the bad one, not the GOVERNMENT (I.E. House of Representatives, and the Senate) The Senate is actually trying to do something about the gas prices. That makes my views on this country go up more then they used to be.

It touches me that some people actually care about the middle class unlike the CEO SHOULD be doing....

Wow, your actually defending our government? Thats a first happy.gif

And Im blaming the state, "Governer" Is refering to the state tongue.gif

I was trying to divert attention away from our national government happy.gif

Ok here I add some new things to the list:

Mayor of New Orleans tells citizens they MUST leave the city, Governer of the state saying they don't have to. This creates a problem, small police force trying to get poeple out, national gaurd not doing anything tongue.gif . NOW we are finally forcing people out, but some people call this un-american.

No putting more money into strengthening the levees

Not using the 100+ public buses to transport people out of city before the hurricane hit, now all those buses are happily swiming in lake New Orleans happy.gif

Bush had to tell the Mayor and Governer to evac people out of New Orleans, Bush primarily caused all the good changes you see, Mayor and Governer sluggish and unresponsive to the needs of what proper hurricane procedure and reaction is. Finally Bush does something right, even though when he arrived he was days late, but that doesn't mean he wasn't communicating efforts while the governer and mayor sat back....

Also, I feel its safe to say that if you rely on the government too much, you will be disappointed. Also people simply couldn't leave becuase they were old and didn't have cars or etc.... Also, there have been hurricane warnings and scares for YEARS, many people beleived this hurricane was going to miss and/or the levees would hold..

And they are mostly stupid too happy.gif

So if they walk non stop for a day and then where are they going to sleep? were are they going to get clean water? what do u want them to do piss in a cup then drink it. oh and not to mention what are they going to do for food when they are walking from new orleans to somewhere safe

And this is mostly the leader of fema he didnt have a plan or anything ready for this and i really done get how its the mayers fault. and i dont know if u read my other post on the topic RAPING AND LOOTING or w/e its called but u should read it biggrin.gif

I would walk, I have to walk a half kilometer to school every morning anyway.

How far would you really have to walk to get somewhere safe? maybe for 1 day. And they have some important things on the line too.
