If this blam happened to me, I would go loot the grocery store to get parishable foods for my family.
Then if I had the time and energy, I would probibly go loot music stores to get all the DJ equipment and Records I could.

just to let anyone who thinks america built the city below sea level and blam, that we DID NOT build it, the french did. No wonder we got such a good deal when we bought the whole territory lol.

I don't know how many times other people have said this, the French has an their city not expansioned off like we do today, plus we also killed the Wetlands, bad idea.
Anyways, I am really glad that the Mayor is finally making those jerks leave New Orleans, they were offered to go to Texas on a big boat, but they refused like little rats. They just want to keep on stealing, because most of the people were poor when the Hurricane hit, but with all the relief, they are going to get more money then the people how deserve it.

it should be rebuild and u guys probly didnt know but their have been tons of bills (not money i mean contract thingys) (and this was pre-huricane katrina) for money to new orleans to improve the levy system and everytime it made it to a president who ever the president was at the time would veto it right away.. and this wouldnt of been as bad of an outcome if the levys didnt break.. i think the only part down their that didnt flood was the french quarter...

I think New Orleans should definitely not be rebuilt, unless the people are out of their minds and just want it to get destroyed again in another 100 years. Unless they come up with some crazy way to protect against some powerful natural disaster, which would probably cost a lot of money.
