They found on some ancient buildings (that were where the jews supposidly were) writings that say that egyptian farmers and peasents were there or something I don't really know, this aiethest friend of mine told me the other say maybe I should ask him where he read it from.

just because the houses that they though belonged to the hebrews were not as they thought doesnt mean that they were not there. that just rules out one of the locations that they could of been at.

Atheist Wager is the best. Since wikipedia has to keep nuetral, they listed a few flaws on it. And the flaws are barely flaws. They're flaws because it's relying on a couple assumptions. You know, assumptions. Something faith is soley based apoun.

If God does for some strange reason, use a judgement system that doesn't tell everyone alive the verdict, only those that are dead. (Which defeats half the purpose right there) It wouldn't base it's self on faith. It would base it's self on wether or not that person lived a good life or not.

Stop relating religion to science. It doesn't work that way. When you guys were comparing religion with science, you're basically comparing Starcraft with Counterstrike or Apples with Oranges or Math with History.

It's human's ability to twist and corrupt things that lead to war and violence. The Crusaders back in the old times twisted the teachings of the Bible, believing they have the right to rampage on towards jeruselum and capture it. Religion has done more good than bad.

That's not true. Nobody follows the morals of religion anymore, they just follow the religion. Nothing worse than having an argument with a religious fanatic, who just blatently flamed you, end his post with 'Peace, and God Bless!' (A different forum)....

This is not always correct. People can be very, very religious and still be complete jerks. Nowadays, they aren't taught together.
Which brings me to another point. Morals can be taught without religion. Teaching a religion without morals is useless.
