yes, it is a little messy but its mostly just the snare that needs fixing and a little less reverb because its drowning the song a little

Hey, does anyone still have a copy of that file I made and posted in the previous "your own music" thread? It was a synthesized guitary thing that I made in audacity. I suppose I could repost it, but my old comptuer broke and I no logner have any copy of it. I think I may have backed it up on a floppy, but that's been lost since we moved.
Eh? Anyone?

You're too nuuby for that stuff. That was back when I had the gas mask Avatar + Sig. Eh... I'll look for the floppy on the weekend.

Awesome, Rantent. Very nice videogame music. I'm wondering, I'm thinking of an RPG and I've got enough ideas to really make it, would you be busy during the summer?

Well I can always take on another project. interested.gif

Dark, you use FL 6.0?

I have 3.4 (bootleg version from my friend =/ )

I make some stuff with it.

Here's the first one I did, a while ago, like april 4th. I still think it's one of my better ones.

If you wanna laugh at some bad usage of the program, go to

http://www.soundclick.com/snafuus

Anyway, listening to this track, I see how basic it was, but considering it's 3.4 and doesn't have as many crazy effects as 6.0 (ie, the whole chop-up-make-a-trance-melody-for-you button), and it was all done myself (except for the one arpeggio).

I thought that if people like stuff you made in it, they might be open to other FL projects. Like this pile of shiz beautiful work of art.

Now that I play it again, I realize the drums were...pretty subpar for my standards =(

Sorry to be a newb, but what exactly is VSTi?

I think the newer versions of FL have a plugin like that, but I'm sure there's some seperate one you use, right?

VSTi = Virtual Studio Instrument (I believe)

It's basically a digital instrument.

FL has always been able to use them I think...

This is the song (non-looping of course) thats supposed to be on my map, Barge Defenders, for the ocean competition, but I didn't have an editor to put it on the map itself in time for the competition. closedeyes.gif

The stuff you got on your website is pretty nice, Holy... but the boxes won't work in Firefox.

Some little thing I made in audacity. Started out just making stuff with the pluck thing, then I started fooling around with editing.

wilhelm, i can hardly hear your voice on the one mp3 =(

and the pluck really deserves some backup drums. ^.^
Report, edit, etc...Posted by HolySin on 2006-06-07 at 23:55:01
Thank you Wilhelm. By the way, those plucks would be better if you had other faster plucks to accompany it. Please, expand on that and you may create something very interesting. And yes, I was aware that FireFox doesn't play this music, so people will have to switch over to their explorer, sorry.

Anyways, here's Cryptic Serenade. If you care, you can read the message by it as well.

[attachmentid=19579] This started out as a little improvisational peice that took about 4 minutes.
I call it the Ode to Missed Opportunities. I might add lyrics sometime.

Well, this forum doesn't get alot of activity, so I may as well contribute! biggrin.gif

I make slowish ambient chillout music, that not a whole lot of people like, but hey, here are a few!

Rikimbo - Recon
Rikimbo - Quintessence
Rikimbo - Highest Ground

Enjoy! biggrin.gif Or don't, I don't really care! wink.gif

[attachmentid=19853] This to me sounds like the background music to a mystery movie.
[attachmentid=19854] I don't like the piano on this one.
