I lost faith in Final Fantasy. The Director of the Final Fantasy program quit, and so did their best programmers. Now all thats left is abunch of noobs to run the FF project.

Microsoft pushed the Xbox 360 out early, that was a pretty smart move. To clobber the playstation 3 and the revolution (which i doubt anyone is looking forward to).

lol, i just hate how they make these games that force you to buy consoles. Then they make new ones, and people stop making games for the old one. So you have to buy the new one.

It COSTS SONY $900 dollars to make, you know how much it takes to make an Xbox360? $600 dolalrs, and look at that, they're not being sold for $600 dollars!? AMAZING. That's because everyone disregards the fact that each major company (Except nintendo) LOSES money per console unit sold.


The harddrive is for saved game information and faster load times not saving music. And still you can't plug your ipod into your ps3 and listen to custom soundtracks on GTA: SA.

I highly doubt that PS3 will be $900 American. Thats complete and utter bullshiz. Maybe Canadian but not American. And at most it should be like $500-700 price range. I mean if they price it too high people won't even buy it. Wasn't the Xbox 360 only $400 when it came out? I'm pretty sure it was where I live. See the difference? My point is $900 is still ridiculas.

PS3 is going to cost more to make. Which means for them not to lose tons of money on the console they will have to go in the 500-900 range. ps xbox 360 cost 300$ with out the hard drive and 400 with

Has LOST money per console unit sold. With the exception of nintendo a company NEVER rises the selling price to the retail price. That'd be sucide. Would anyone buy a $900 dollar console? No. Would anyone buy a $600 dollar console? No. That's why it has to be $400-$500 dollar range. They are PLANNING to lose money, microsoft is losing money per xbxo360 sold right now. There isn't a slight chance in the world it would cost $900 dollars.

And cloud, and everyone else. I hope you all realize that the only reason it'd "cost more" in canada is because they convert the base of currency, in which case 2 american dollars = 3 canadian dollars. So that's the only reason why it would "cost more" it's not like Sony hates canada and decides to up the price by $300 dollars.

I know every console has lost money. That is also why I said 500-900 range (900 was a bit of an exaggeration ). I don't know how much it will cost. Since the PS3 is going to cost more to make than the 360 they will probably have to raise the price some. Maybe it will be in the 400-600 range. I can't seem to find the topic on how much PS3 will cost to make... So, pretty much if Sony makes it cost to much not as many people will buy it. If they make it cost to little they will get a lot of people to buy it but they will lose too much $.

I can see ps3 for $600... maybe 700 but wont go higher and prob wont go lower. Big reason for that is its harddrive also. And it is just a tiny bit stronger then the xbox 360. And i dont really see the biggest difference between both expect maybe one has blue ray but i use to play games not watch movies... And the movies prob wont go to blue ray anytime soon.. everyone owns dvd players why you expect them to suddenly change to blue ray just becuase the ps3 came out wow. Expect sony does own a lot of other companys...

mostly the games. i remember when my friend had to buy 2 wavebird controllers on the same year becuase they keep breaking on him. i know for a fact that some gamecube controllers are crap.

from the other threads i've read about the ps3...its going through some difficulties...hearing the of halting the ps2 production and sony getting sued....i think the time they'll release it will be much later according to the other threads. and i think people wouldn't want to spend too much mony on a console...if it does come out ima wait a few months for the prices to drop. no rush in buying it expensive when it first comes out...besides people will be experimental lab rats for seeing if there any bugs or glitches in consoles so i will be careful on buying it and not wasting time.
