And i think Wii might loose just becuase of its lack of games just like its previous consoles. Gamecube was a extremly strong console and also was cheap; however, there wasnt much 3rd party games for it which totally killed it. Wii is so innovative; however, i bet once again 3rd party developres will not make as much game for it.
As I said before (somewhere) the gamecube didn't have a good controller (According to 3rd Part Devolpers, not enough buttons etc.) no online, and smaller discs. So it was harder to make games for it, that's why no one liked it and didn't want to design for it. However the Wii has a good controller, online, and DVD9 format, also how the controller is completely revolutionary so a lot of 3rd party devolpers (Activision, Ubisoft, EA, etc) all like the new console, so it won't follow the same fate. If it fails it won't be because of 3rd party support.

However, its not sonys fault they removed rumble... they got a lawsuit for it so meh...
The same lawsuit was given out to Microsoft, and they survived. Sony took out the rumble because it took up the same space as the motion detector (it's motion not tilt) they could've added it in but it would've looked "werid" and would've interefered with the motion detector. In other words, they suck at design.
