From what im looking at sony really messed up.

First off the price are not so bad, but there not the best. However, I cannot complain about that.

But in the other hand I can talk about other stuff

First off the Controller
Sony took away the rumble for the "motion sensor" However, that thing is not even a motion sensor it would be used in around 10% of the game while rumble can always be used in 100% of the games. Its pretty much the same old thing, but worse.

And the 20gb vs 60gb what is this?

The 60gb already does not have everything they have promised in last E3 and the 20gb which is 100 dollars cheaper is nothing... It won't have memory stick, compact flash, SD card ports, and no build in wifi. Seriously what are they doing ripping off peoples money.

They promised 3 Ethernet ports; however, it can with one. Also sony first said it will have dual HDMI ports; however, the 60gb one will have one and the 20gb one will have non. I wonder how is the 20gb PS2.1 will be able to output 1080p.

And if you talk about GPU and CPU xbox 360 and sony looks almost exactly the same.

Also on the online, sure it is free; however, is that always a good thing? Im not sure; however, i would consider it as a MMO rpg which makes you pay monthly fee vrs a MMO rpg that doesnt. Which means in time the Sony's online feature might lack.

PS2's huge library truely amaze me; however, PS3 has nothing that amaze me expect for MGS4.

Ok if you want to talk about Blu-Ray they said it will be 2x at 72Mbp, sorry really is dealing with some unfinished work. In the other hand Xbox 360 reads Dvd 12x which is 132Mbps. I mean yea Blu-Ray is going to be faster; however, as in the PS3 its slow... What was Sony thinking seriously...

And last but not least, I hated the way they tried to copy every single console that was out there. Some people argue its not copying; however, it is a clear fact they were. They built in the tilt system 2 weeks ago and completeled it only a few days ago. Sony really what are you doing?





In the other hand Wii impressed me a lot in there games, all I wait is for a better library i want more Super Mash Brother type of games for Wii.

Xbox 360's library seems huge 160 games by the end of the year, 3 of its games were on the top selling list which actually is amazing... And Live Anywhere will truely get some people to buy xbox 360.



Seriously get the xbox 360 plus Wii and ditch the ps3. They just totally lied it out this time.

The PS3 can still read DVD's so Developers can still make games on them. Blu-Ray is there for the HD-Format war and if the Developer needs the extra space.


Now these are very different. 360 has a Unified Architecture on there GPU and Three Core spec. While Sony uses Cell and a nvidia based GPU. Now in theortically performance the Ps3 can pull out more but you are right in the fact that most games between them will look about the same but probably nearing the end of there lives the Ps3 will pull ahead a bit. But I'd have to agree with you.

I basically agree with ya except for the DVD thing. Anyway I wont be getting a 360 but I will be going Vista plus Wii!!!!!
Not that I got anything against the 360 but I can't be distracted from me and programming. Modding(Actual Code in C++) is something I look forward to doing so I'm gonna have to stick to Pc's.

GO MICROSOFT AND GO NINTENDO.

The graphics yea later on Sony might have a little better graphic; however, that will be only Sony exlusive titles. Dev's will make exactly the same game for both platform. And that whole Blu-Ray vs normal DVD fact is sad...


Is it possible to have Window Vista not run Blu-Ray if it is sony loose blu-ray war in the beginging of 2007....

20GB is nothign? That's more than Microsoft's horrible 13GB. Even so I have all my information on oblivion, 300 songs and I still have 10GB storage left. 20GB is a lot better, and this means even if you get the cheaper version you don't have to worry about saving your games.

Is this your first console lineup awaiting? What was on the gamecube when it was released? Super Smash Brothers, Luigi's Mansion, and some other crappy game. How about Xbox? Halo. The ps2? Jak and Daxter, Gran Turismo 3, and some other game. THe games get better over time, and still which game isn't amazing? The trailer for Naughty Dog's new game blew me away, I can't wait to play it. Warhawk, another Gran Turismo, and incredblie new graphics from EA. This is a whole lot better than Microsoft's contionus ports of current gen consoles.

That's not copying all the consoles, that's copying one console. And I'm hoping the feature will be over looked.


What were those three games, hmmm. Let me guess: Call of Duty 2, which is a PC port, and is a decent game, but compared to the piece of crap Microsoft launch it's a dimond. Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter. And Oblivion, a game that's been 5 years in the making, and is also coming out for Ps3, and is alraedy coming out for PC. And with the ps3 version, it'll have better graphics and less bugs.

Is that a joke, Grand Turismo HD with its paper people vrs a year before release of PGR3. Warhawk looks ugly too; how can you pick 2 of the worse looking game for ps3 and call them incredible. Call of Duty 2 on xbox 360 looked much better than xbox or ps2 version. Atleast it wasnt like Dynasty Warrior

PS3's ultimate blu-ray is slow compaired to regular DVD players and etc which is in the xbox 360. Yea ps3 can hold much more space; however, they failed in the part which they said it will be faster.


Blu-Ray runs in constant speed and if its 2x thats constant 72Mbp in reading. In the other hand Microsofts Xbox 360 which uses DVD-9 runs at 12x which runs at 132Mbps in its max speed.


Which means ps3's 2x blu-ray reads slower. However, yea in the 4x blu-ray definatly owns 12x DVD; however, the one is ps3 is not 4x blu-ray so it actually lacks a lot.

I said EA's crap looked incredible. But Gran Turismo still looks awesome. I also mentioned Naughty Dog's game which you seemed to jsut completely disregard. And the Xbox and Ps2 version of COD2 are not the same. COD2 Big Red One and COD2 are two different games. However: Gun, Tony Hawk: American Wasteland, and other imported crap was just bad graphics bloated up in High Defention, so you can see it a lot clearer now, great.
As for the games EA made, they removed half the features, good idea guys!

Are you saying that's a bad thing? The guide button is a GOOD idea, whether or not microsoft made it first doesn't matter. What it proves though is that Ps3 will have a similar system to XboxLive if it has a guide button.

Gun, Tony Hawk: American Wasteland, I know there ports so your point is? That was only for launch and a lot of people knew. If you talk about graphic wise King Kong for xbox360 looks better, same with a few other games. However, Gun seemed like a direct port without any difference...

Were thoes ingame graphics? I mean Sony sure did impress us once again with its CG Trailers and etc, which they have been showing for a long time. In game graphic were lacking from what sony showed us. Paper block people from Grand Turismo and Warhawk was nothing close to its old trailer they shown...

Well besides the fact that games have to be almost COMPLETEY RECODED to properly work on the Ps3. Completely different optimizations and how you code them. You think in this time they couldn't bump up the textures to a bit higher resolution or something?

2x which is at constant 72Mbp.

Xbox 360 DVD runs 12x which is 65.6-132Mps, becuase it doesnt run in same speed.

Blu-Ray in PS3 which is 2x runs at a constant speed of 72Mpb.


Its obvoius that Xbox 360's DVD runs faster than Blu-Ray which means it reads faster...

Its minumum reading speed is almost the same, its maximum isp retty higher.
I mean if you take and average the both numbers is 98.8 is the average speed.

So what im saying Blu-Ray is extremly fast; however, the one in PS3 no, its slower than your DVD player.

As i said before when people were saying how horrible the 360 was, sonys not going to be any better. The ps2 online was free, but it sucked. It just absolutely sucked. There were barely any online games and they all were horrible besides socom. They are making you pay 100-200 more than a 360 even though the graphics are just about the same and the ps3 has a crapty hardrive/controller. The headsets cost 50 dollars and you can only buy it through zipper interactive or some store with crappy 20 dollar ones. Both of the systems can play dvd's on them but only the 360 allows you to download new content for games or even trailures on new movies and such. In addition, the ps3 test model overheated at the sony headquaters and it had just about caught a flame. There are no good games ready to come out for the system just like the 360 but the xbox had quake which is what 65% of the people first played. Not only do they overheat, but they are even more fragile than a 360. If you dropped your 360 from 2 ft, it would be ok, but a ps3 would fall apart. Honestly, why would anyone pay 100-200 dollars more on a system that seems even worse then the 360 in which most people thought it sucked. Think about it.
addition: Golden: the 3 top selling games were quake 4, battlefield 2, and oblivion. Get it straight. Sony copied their controller from another company, and so they had to give it up "buddy"
I am not an xbox lover. I didn't have an xbox, i had a ps2. I was sick of ps2 so i decided to go with xbox this time and i was impressed. Halo isn't the greatest game in the world, there was also games for xbox such as doom 3, call of duty
(both systems), and counter strike.

I realize your a Quake fanboy but please don't try to bring us all down with you. Quake 4 is not the game that everyone was playing, in fact. That game got one of the worst reviews at launch since the graphics weren't that great, and had a terrible frame rate.


You haven't even come close to a Ps3 and you say things like this. If you drop your xbox360 or ps3 from 2 feet you're a freaking fool and deserve to have it break. And don't say "WHAT IF IT FALLS". EVERY type of furniture is over 3 feet so if it falls, you're freaked anyway. Again with the false information. Battlefield 2 came out a month ago and you think it's beating out Call of Duty and Ghost Recon? That's very funny, seeing as how the games you listed (Besides oblivion) have gotten poor reviews while the ones that I said (and actually were the best selling) all got above 9.0 or the equivlent.

Xbox360 graphics (For the most part) look like slightly powered up Xbox graphics, they're nothing that great. It's more of a "How much crap can you get on screen" rather than how cool it looks.

I know what the xbox 360 is like cause i got 1 ;P its got much better than the xbox if you get the right driver you can have power drives for different uses frankly if you have the best 1 your xbox is like a super mini computer.

Run all xbox games on the xbox 360 with improved speed.

wireless controller.
live box as usual.

Different drives can consiste of mass storage and music downloads etc.....

I dont know about you guys, I am a SONY guy, Though I am very impressed by Microsofts accomplishments so soon, but this is only because they are running out of ways to make money, the computers are selling for almost no profit now a days, this is like a last ditch effort to get back on track, This is only my opinion but maybe SONY got rid of some stuff that you guys wanted, what would you like a console that does anything for a 1000 dollars or one that does just what is needed to play online and play games for less? Maybe Sony is trying to get back on track too but only because Nintendo was getting pissed off because of somthing they already knew. I just think Sony got kicked while they were down!

I got a Playstation, PS2 and am planning on getting the PS3 once it comes out and the first price drop comes out like a year or two after it comes out, and I am a huge computer finatic so I have plenty of patience!
