What's the point of proving his connection wrong, and then using it to relate to what you just said was wrong.
Strenght and Speed are prefrence. Obviously if you take the two farthest apart characters (IE Bowser vs Marth) then it's more likely for marth to win since Bowser attacks so slow, but with a lot of damage. But if you have a fight like Roy vs Dr.mario it's pretty even.

What are you talking about? I proved that his connection was not so good, because it's comparing two different things. I just added in the blizzcon thing just to show that reguardless of his connection to super smash bros., that his statement was right. I didn't say anything wrong.
Dr.Mario and Roy are even you fool. They're pretty much the same speed and deal with power. The only difference is that Roy doesn't have the range and is a bit more powerful. Dr. Mario does have range, but he isn't quite as powerful. As I was saying, speed is better than power, it leans more towards fact than preference. I've yet to have someone play as a giant tub-o-lard and beat me. If anybody hasn't noticed, hit and run is the best strategy in the game, making Fox and Shiek the best players. Look at all the so called "best" players and I'm incredibly sure you'll see that at least 70% of them use those two characters. Let's take a step further and show why this is so:
Shiek:
-Very quick and powerful attacks.
-Great with one vs. one combat.
-Can easily run away if there's too much chaos.
-Can use needles from afar.
-Perfect for hit and run.
-Her problem: light-weight character.
So basically, if your some chug-a-lug like D.K., more than likely, you'll die from Shiek.
Fox:
-Pretty much the same deal with Shiek.
-Great with group combat.
-Has a laser for hit and run.
-Has a reflect for people who use the same strategy.
-His problem: his recovery time isn't necessarily the greatest.
It's pretty much the same scenario, even without the leviathans, the slower characters don't have as high of a chance of winning.
Now, not to have a God-complex or anything, but my friend and I believed that we were the best at one point. This was pretty much due to practice each summer day. In the Hyrule Castle level, we got to the point where we able to hit the high 600% damage. Some guy said that he got second place in a contest and was boasting about his so called "skills on this game". My friend beat him with 10 lives, which was the set lives with only about 20% damage on him, naturally, he used Shiek. I beat him using Fox with the same amount of lives with about 40% damage (Yes, for the most part, my friend beats me in this game). Of course, for now, we are rusty. However, if they do manage to set up an internet connection for this upcoming game, I will gladly accept a challenge from anyone. If you think you're really good, try to beat my friend and I. We may not be the "best" anymore, but I'm sure we'll be a nice challenge.
