The Oblivion title theme uses the same theme in parts. But Morrowind came first.

I really like Sports games that have music, but not from a specific artist, like the mario sport games. Also, lots of the Final fantasy 9 songs are really nice, especially melodies of life

Overall, I couldn't pick one song. But if we're talking about opening themes alone, probably Final Fantasy Tactics has my favorite. (Although Radical Dreamers' opening "Day of Summer" is nice too...)
