What is your favorite video game theme song?
Mine is pretty much tied with The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time theme song and Final Fantasy X theme song. But if I had to pick it would be Zelda.

Theme song? I don't usually like the theme songs very much, but FF7's pretty cool. Not the best FF7 song, though.
As for favorite game music, definitely U-TIC System from Xenosaga. Xenosaga's music is just amazing, though.

No, I said what I liked the best (Even though the song isn't that great I was just listening to it at the time, hooray for GameMusic.com) and then I "sung" to it using NAs and NEWNs. And there's also a report button :/

Probably some of the boss or dungeon themes from LoZ:OoT or LoZ:MM...I rarely find the best songs in games though are the sole themes. Halo had a nice theme song, though, too. Primarily the second stanza imo

By theme songs, do you mean a character's theme, location theme, etc. or just the game theme itself? There are tons of themes I enjoy, such as Kreia's theme from KotOR II and Cloud's Theme from Final Fantasy VII. However, for game themes, some notables that stick out in my mind are Legend of Zelda and Metal Gear Solid 2. And, thanks for that link to Morrowind's title theme. I liked Oblivion's score (it isn't memorable, except for the fact that it always helped to set the mood of the gameplay), but Morrowind's theme is definitely much more memorable. Of course, we can always count stuff like the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings themes, as they are now in games.

all those are awesome games with awesome scores. why do i like them? i don't really know. for KH its definitely the beat and the lyrics, fell in love with them first time i heard it. As for the strictly instrumental Final Fantasy Scores, the songs just show what the composer was feeling. its all pretty awesome. As fo the rest, they're just unforgettable.
