High, i have admin powers to do map reviews just like a map team guy would. Once im actually in the editing page and typed up the comments and filled in the rubrics, it brings me to an error page when i click submit. Beer also said he had same problem as well

I think maybe like a popularity on bnet and how often you see the map category, with like very high, moderate, once in a while

High, MA is like a half Map Team i suppose. He only has Admin access to map Reviews not DLDB. IP was going to kick him out completely of any admin access but since there are so few people worthy enough of being in the Map Team me and IP decided to only give him access to Map Reviews because he did a great job doing all those reviews by himself.

I would prefer if you didn't review Alpha/Beta maps.

Also, maybe add a little (Review) link next to the rating in the DLDB if there is a review for that map. Integrating Reviews and DLDB might make both of them a bit better.

Well, actually its good if we review alpha/beta maps because we reviewers can let you know so far where that map stands and can even give advice and thoughts about it so you guys can make it better in the final versions.

How about adding a comments section to the reviews like in the DLDB script? So people could discuss the review and the map to which it pertains?

MA : Isn't that why people have little "production threads". Also, beta = public release to specificly get feedback. However, if people wish to request a review, by all means...
Moose... that was already done before you posted that.
Nah... no comment board for reviews. I might reconsider it a little later on.

Give me a link to the DLDB file you would have wanted reviewed.

Has it been there, or is this new...
There are some weird numbers at the top of the map reviews page.

There's weird numbers on top of like almost every page. It happens here and there sometimes. I dunno why though

But yes ur right, it's always there for map reviews
Report, edit, etc...Posted by IsolatedPurity on 2005-01-21 at 11:23:00
Weird numbers on tops of pages is me echoing out a php statement to check the results, sorta like debugging. I suppose I could make it only appear for me though with some if statements...

The number on top of the map reviews is the number of seconds that based since Jan 1, 1970 or something around there. I just forgot to remove it after it served it's purpose.

I think reviews should be shown automatically on the DLDB map display pages. Instead of having to click on the actual link to the download, people won't even bother reading it. But if it's there, it gives it a better onlook and people will read it without trying to search for it.

ok its me again..... i have a new doubt(s), if I upload a campaign, and you review it, you review it all like an overall? or just one of the scenarios?

ok, im going to take the chance to ask you another stuff, (because i dont know where else this question would fit in), im talking about a 20 MAPS sounds, like a fat and big couple of megabites, how would I send it, by e-mail, like a zip?, i dont know how you can make that anyway, man im so stupid..... to much weed
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2005-01-31 at 21:07:44
blink.gif 20 maps?? Well.........

I can play them all and give it one overall score. Ill just average the scores each mission would get and put it in the scorebox. happy.gif

But i really dunno. I'd ask IP or yoshi about it first
