What is a switch?
Really shows it too.
Can someone tell me how this is serious discussion? Please?
Yeah, I thought it would be moved to Garbage first day.
It's serious since people that actually know what we're talking about won't care about skill level yet random noobs that enter say things like "Some Uber please answer this..." and it's just pathetic/annoying.
I'm advanced, why?
I do my -ING best to use proper spelling and grammer. That's why, this is a message board, not a chat room or an online game, take some time with your post. And at least TRY to make it right.
Average because im not totally clueless but i don't know alot of stuff.
Instead of having these Map Making Skill levels so it can tell people what kind of advice to give em, we should use something else much much better instead.
It should be something called "Level of difficulty in advices you want?" with the options Noobish, intermediate, and advanced.
Even if your map making skill is Uber, what if you want simple solutions to fixing maps? If people look at your skill level, they assume you want the most complex ways of fixing your problem. Well that's probably not what you wanted people to have done. So yea, i think that would be better.

Yes, that would be nice for posting in mapmaking assistance. Having a little thing that says in your post: Please reply the Simplest/Intermediate/Advanced solution. Or have a choice of nothing at all.
Can't wait until that reputation system comes out *cough cough*
It will seriously help.

I saw TSoldier_Wol[f]s map "Terminator 3" the other day on bnet. It was nothing big and no colors. Still I have seen people playing it some times. Why? It was fun, even I thought it was fun.

What Terminator 3 map? I haven't even started on a Terminator 3 or even made one! I only made "Terminator Maddness" and that map was a failure. I'm still working on my Terminator 4 map still, But. I haven't been doing alot of work on it lately cause, of school work. Hell. I don't even have time to even work on my websites either!
EDIT: Wait, post the map. Let me see it, I always put a little thing that proves that I made the map, I always leave something in all of my maps to see if their my maps!
i no longer make maps, but when i did, or attempted to, i set my skill level to average.
i guess i knew most if not all triggers, but some really technical stuff was beyond me.
ideally, you should set your skill level to beginner, so nobody gets pissed that ur "advanced" but dont know crap.
'sides, actions speak louder than words. if you set your skill level to beginner yet you have great maps, then who cares what level you set yourself too?
boy this is a random post but i'm too tired to try and change it.....
