Nearly 20 days? Closer to 90 actually, but I wouldn't expect it for several months still. If you look back somewhere about 2 months ago, he said he expected the demo to be done in 1 month and the real thing around 7 months after that. To my knowledge the demo still isn't out, so I really wouldn't expect the entire thing for a long time still. Maybe the demo will come soon though.

Uh... I finished an Island... 1 of 9. Continant 3 is being upgraded a little. Continant 2 is just mainly, Dead? Idk when I will get to progress on Continant 2... but when I do, I have about 300 hours of terrain blends I have ready for it...

Progress is still high. C17 is working on some spells and systems. It will end up being majorly EUD conditioned spell/skill damaging mechinisms... Yes, thats correct! 100 Triggers for Life on every unit! C17 is actually excited about doing it. So I am not worried about the time or trigger count for that matter. The end result will be very rewarding.

Re-arranging some doodads. Working on Terrain research. Just progressing at designated speed... finding some crazy shat though. I think, when im back from hair cut today, I am going to update the first post on Crescent Dyne. tongue.gif

With the EUD conditions, you can use trigger duplicator to save time, they have quite simple patterns.

Ok, worken alot on Continant 2. Tons of hard work. Expanded 1 of the lower southern banks for more space. It looks much better after I did that... Haha, I thought I was just going to have to redo Continant 2 because I was unhappy with the progress. I just needed to open stuff up a little. Open Spaces = Sexy.

Screenshots? Omg, I need sum1 to help me do that. I will recruit any1. Ull get to have the latest version of cD RPG, and Id like 1 screenshot every week... you can take like 10 in a day, but only show 1 a week... Or... Every day? Everyday a new screenshot? Grr, Or all at once? Hmm... I will have to approve all of the screenshots first.

Ive been working none-stop since I opened this thread...

Lol.

Remodeled some of Continant 3... Changing some blending ruins tiles around to remove some obvious lines.

Id say, about 20% done with Continant 2. I just discovered another 15-20 doodads. Some are really nice. Some more perfect blends here and there. Keeping true to my rule, "No ramp is the same."

Trigger developement is steady. C17 is special making over 10 test maps for systems on Crescent Dyne. Camp Site will be added to allow players to use potions and tents to heal away from civilization. We will also use EUD life on all Heroes, Bosses, and Semibosses.

Boat/Ship/Airship systems are being worked out on paper. Triggers are being organized. We are predicting we might need 2000-3500 triggers for the RPG. C17 isn't looking forward to all the repetitive copying for Levelups, p2 and p3 copies, and other boring trigger systems...

I have school tomarrow again. So work might slow down a little...

Damn, I didn't expect this map to need THAT many triggers. But I took a look at version I last night and its very nice. Maybe I should get the updated Doodad Database sometime.

I have to make tons of corrections still. After viewing the map with Rantent over my shoulder, I find more repepetive tiles then eva!

It is on version J right now.

This is how far I am to completeing the Terrain version of Crescent Dyne. XY and Z will be touchups. So I am 10/21th completed. Almost 50% done with Crescent Dyne Terrain... then XYZ will finish it off by replacing anything I even think is a tad too blocky.

After this is completed, we will move from named by letters, to numbers. I will be using in order from first Alpha, then to Beta all the way up to the release date expected in June 2006.

Alpha and Beta version will be labeled like this...

Saved As : CrescentDyneRPGv00
Labeled As : v0.0.0, using first second and third numbers as from right to left, every 1 day, group of 10 days, group of 30 days.

So it would look something like this...
v0.0.9 -> v0.1.0

Having max numbers be...
v99.2.9
So if you figure, 6 months x 30 days, so ur talking about, Ending Alpha and Beta on around v3.0.0

Get it? Kinda wierd, but it does what it needs to do. Ha!

I might just do, date, month, year... but i wanted Versions in order, # wise. So I don't want to do that.



School! Im up really early, EST around 5:30 to get some good old HW done... Sad.

I have some spell ideas you can use:
Teleportation/Intervention - Teleports you back to a city(could be a scroll or something...)
Cloak - Make a player turn invisible(dark templar) for a certain amount of time.
Illusion - Make 2 or 3 copies of yourself.
Lycanthropy - The transforming into a wolf(If you wanna biggrin.gif )
Summon Creature(Whatever you want biggrin.gif ) - Summons a _______ to fight by your side for ___ seconds/minutes.
Cure - Heals you and your party
Weaken - Weakens enemies by __%.
Command Creature - Temporarily have an enemy become an ally to fight by your side.
Fly/Levitate - Allows you to fly over obstacles for ___ seconds/minutes.
Thunder - Spawns a templar for ___seconds/minutes to storm a group of enemies.
Fissure - Spawn a lurker for ___ seconds/minutes to follow you and decimate enemies.
Fireball - Spawns an archon for ___ seconds/minutes to damage a group of enemies.
