But serious, it would take weeks to overmake whole terrain. If it is possible, because map is based on terrain, and if you have trigger systems and stuff based on locations and terrain, it makes it just way to hard to change all terrain.
And I strongly suggest on you stay with your terrain instead of using isom+sprites. I mean your map could look like Stareditron's GTA and that is a bad thing Besides it would be quite stupid if we had similar terrain. Let's better stay on whatever terrain we have.

I don't think that the 3D terrain would be such a bad thing. I would not change the whole map but some of the major buildings that you would run into could have the 3D effect added to them. I would no go back and change all of the buildings but you could just add/change a couple of the major ones.
Addition: What about a simple train system after the final version is made. Something like that would add some more reality to the game.

Don't let little things like school work and homework get into the maps way and your way as well. Put the map off to the side and get that other stuff done first. Do you have off school for the christmas holidays of Jewish holidays? During that time period it could be a good time for the map to get a big boost in production.
