Why do you people need magical beings to control what you do or the people around you do? Why do you need your God to be the absolute right and all others the absolute wrong? I really don't care is Satan or God exist. There's a good chance they do, there's a good chance they don't. The point is this: Satan is never making you do anything. God is never making you do anything. You're never acting out the will of God or the will of Satan. We are not good or evil. We could exist very well without a God. Why would there be existence? What is nothing? How can nothing exist? Surely, the problem generated simply made existence. But remember one thing: the Universe is infinite. There is nothing that can destroy existence, but perhaps our conventional existence, (things are all composed of matter, and all changes controlled by energy). The apocalypse is the end of a viewpoint. It's not the end of the idea.

Your statements condradict themselves.

You set up two polar opposites; satan and god, than state there is no good or evil even though you are either carrying out god's will or satan's will. You say that even if there was a god out there, we could exist well without them. One of the terms for god is Creator; we wouldn't be here without some form of a god. your terms do not match up at all.

Can you define infinite, nothing, everything? Than how do you know it's all composed of matter that can only be changed by energy?

QUOTE(PCFredZ)
I wasn't hijacking, I was referring to my statements that seemed two-sided, and your response to it, "He agrees n' in the same place swirls opinions when he realizes that it goes against his creed(s)." Kerry contradicted himself, and I wasn't trying to do that. I just have some trouble with advanced sentence structures pinch.gif ...

So, it wasn't hi-jacking. Instead it was thread derailling. pinch.gif
And since you brought up flip-flopping, that wasn't really it I said you stated. I was refering to M.Army's expressed PoV's that got contradicting.

QUOTE(PCFredZ)
I clicked on the Extremism link you provided, and there it was... "Extremist, along with "radical", is a common term to describe those who tend to choose extreme methods, particularly violence to express their views, in an attempt to cause political or social change." Dictionary.com: "zealotry-- n : excessive intolerance of opposing views [syn: fanaticism]". These aren't exactly, ahem, nice words.
...
I didn't say we should applaud people, the phrasing "which are not exact what you'd say to applaud someone" should be interpreted as "which are stuff you'd say to make one feel negative".

Again I say, those weren't offensive no matter how hard you try to twist it. And 'till the day some of the site's mod(s)/admin(s) warns me (that I'm getting over the forums' policy or being offensive), I'll keep using'em when see fit. happy.gif
(By no chance am trying to stir animosities or similars amidst the general forum goers, just stating my view point. wink.gif)

Stop with the straw-man technique that it won't do you any good. I didn't said those to make someone "feel negative" but instead as negative attitudes that would need a lil' tinkering to improve, imho.
As I was sometime in the past not far ago, told to improve my English from IRC chatting style (mild 1337 or whatever) with the numbers n' all that jazz to a real regular English speaker... by now you can guess what I ended up doing, don't you? smile.gif

QUOTE(PCFRedZ)
Wouldn't marriage of people with the same gender complicate this already disastrous society (assuming you live in the U.S.)? As in, change of last names, etc. I'm not against it, but I'm not for it.

Uhmm... How can I put this? blink.gif Look at my flag 1st. *Hint, hint*
As stated by me in other place before, open-mindedness can do wonders. Peep here to see a conservative attempt to ban homo' marriages getting bashed no time flat. (It's from an ol' post of mine in a related subject. wink.gif)
Please tell me in wich part it (read gay marriage) offends your rights or even shortens'em up. disgust.gif

QUOTE(Idsa)
No according to the Christian Faith. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU UNTIL YOU CONFESS AND BECOME A CHRISTAIN.
that means that you CAN control yourself to do what is right in YOUR eyes, not in the Holy Spirit's eyes. So thus you do not have the presence of the Holy Spirit unless you are Christian.
Where did you hear that everyone has the presence of the Holy Spirit? Not everyone does.

I heard millions of times during my childhood while getting taught Catholic religion/principles. And for about a decade, give or take a few. And if you payed any attention to what I've been saying all along, have quited on the Christian faith a while back now. tongue.gif
Btw, in wich 'metter' do you acknowledge that I haven't got the Holly Spirit within me? Just wondering... *Sarcasm* pokey.gif

Let me clear it up with this statement: and ya think the US would be impossible to convert to metric units!

And why's that? May I ask? It might widen someone's PoV's... and that I was my main intention. happy.gif

I understood your stance in that 1st post. Just making a point that it wouldn't step on any of your rights, if it was allowed. Catched my drift now? wink.gif

Two words... forum clutter. Two more words: redundant repetition. Last two words: why care... dry.gif

Catched my drift now?

I think the U.S. needs to put more attention into things like public education than banning gay marriage, but I still think marriage should be between two people of different genders. It's like gay couples just want to be the same as everyone else... though there is a dramatic difference. Note that I'm not saying the difference is bad (note how I did acknowledge them as "couples").

How can you say god is good or evil? thats like saying if god is evil then satan must be good. So if you sin your going to heaven and if your good your going to hell kinda odd way look at it. Maybe god is neutral. Can't really say because i dont know if he exist or not i guess you have believe what you think is true. Better to expect your opinion of what god is then others. That way your not a blind sheep being lead by someone else. I guess god is good, seem's like it by text and so on.

Yup, we're goin' slightly sideways but wth, it isn't reason to say it's getting disordered or confusing.
Repetition, but in wich sense? Because it was prob'ly 'cussed earlier? ermm.gif
I do care. That's why I post.

Yeah, but couples that don't have the same rights as married ones or joint hetero' couples are my real point here. You failed to answer my question. In wich right of yours their marriage steps upon? disgust.gif
One of my fav mottos is: "My liberties (or rights) ends where the fellowman's ones starts." After this innuendo, please explain it better to me. Not the "should be between different genders" excuse (that usually comes from religion, btw). pinch.gif

Interpret the following however you want, I think gay couples are just unsatisfied because they don't get the same recognition that heteros get.
QUOTE(Dictionary.com)
mar·riage
n.

  1.
        1. The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife.
        2. The state of being married; wedlock.
        3. A common-law marriage.
        4. A union between two persons having the customary but usually not the legal force of marriage: a same-sex marriage.
  2. A wedding.
  3. A close union: “the most successful marriage of beauty and blood in mainstream comics” (Lloyd Rose).
  4. Games. The combination of the king and queen of the same suit, as in pinochle.

QUOTE(Basan)

I never said the word "right".

If they got treated as anyone else does, I wouldn't stick to it.

"You never said right", that's correct but you saying that there's a "dramatic difference" that's what kinda drove me off. Such an subjective thing gender, especially with all those transsexual operations that occur nowadays... wink.gif
No harm done, or at least I hope so. Let's burry the hatchet on this, ok? happy.gif

it doesnt mean that if god made everything he is evil.
I'm Catholic and I believe in God. I will always have faith within him no matter how things go bad. The world isnt always how you want it to be. Sometimes, you get what you want, while in other times, you do not
