Time = A measurement of time.
Time = What never stops and keeps going.
Time = Keeps on and on and on.
Time = even if there is not a existance of life in the universe.

what the hell is that? time is NOT a measurement of time....seconds and the like are. if we could stop the earth, then time, on the earth, would stop wouldn't it? " but the computer clocks" all the clocks are doing is what we built them to do....all they do is go in a continuos loop. so is time a continuos loop?no, i think not. all time is, is something we made up to have a little bit of order WAY back in the day.

if you think really hard,ageing...has nothing to do with the earth spinning or"time'. ageing is the body decaying. it just takes a while.

QUOTE(devilesk @ Jun 15 2005, 03:04 PM)
I don't think the earths rotation controls time, we just use it as a way to measure time. If the earth stopped spinning, would we not age? I think time would still pass, but there would be no way to tell by using the sun and day/night.

The earths rotation actually does control "Time", "Time" that you guys are trying to argue with. If I was to shoot you into outerspace, and you was to rotate the earth, you would actually age slower then everyone else. Because at faster speeds, "Time" actually does slow. If you want someone to go more into detail, talk to Timmy.

Seconds are a measure of time. "Time" will never stop because our "Time" is an infinant loop. The Universes "Time" is infinant (not the infinant that repeats, the one that goes forever) "Time" does not keep going on and on, because our "Time" is an infinant loop. But the Universes "Time" does.

And where did you come up with the last one? If there was no existance of life in the universe, there could not be "Time". But a Universal "Time" exists always.

Good point, I think the only way we could tell time is with computers in space. So therefore, our time will still exist. (By time, I mean the one we created ourselves, you know, the measurements)

You trying to tell me that gravity and force have something to do with the way you age?
I never heard of that before. Ever.

If you move faster you age less, no matter how small the difference.

Still tons of gravity and forces interacting in space wink.gif
Besides, we'd be basing it upon our own time to start, which is based on the Earth's rotation and when it faces the sun.

Earths rotation doesn't necesarily affect time, since the only use we have for it is time on Earth. The only thing it does is decrease the amount of time than if it were totally unacted upon. Kinda hard to explain all of this without going really technical. disgust.gif

that is a very good point. like i said WAY back in my first post. time was locked down by the rail companies. there were crude clocks before hand, but none of them were "right" but they were all" right" at the same time. timmy. plz get a technical as you want, most us us will understand....

I could see that being able to happen, but if you're gonna count that, you'll have to count heat and cold are factors as well. Which they could be. I'm not a science major at all, nor have I really looked much into this science wise. (And you may not have either)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-06-16 at 14:40:35
heat and cold are definet factors. if your to cold your age faster, and if your to hot the same thing happens......why do you think we send all the old people to florida...to die...lol jk

I hate time pinch.gif When you want it to go slowly it speeds up intentionally and when you want it to go fast it speeds up!! mad.gif
Like one day I decided I was gonna get up at 7:00 to watch T.V. and it was like 6:30
So i slept 30 minutes, I go back to sleep and think about all these things (sometimes map making smile.gif ) Trying to Dream and it seemed like a century when I finally looked at the clock

6:35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ranting.gif

You guys might call me crazy for this, but I noticed something last night.

I always set my alarm clock according to my satalite T.V. (Dish Network) and something strange happens. Ever time I actually notice it, my alarm clock somehow goes faster (It is a different time then the satalite) I never touch the damn thing, except to turn off my alarm. Now don't you think it is a possibility, that I have manipulated the clocks setting without touching it?

I think it is possible..........

What do you guys think? I don't want no flames for this, just oppinions. happy.gif

I seriously think that I could have possibly manipulated the clock with energy ("Chi"/"Ki" stuff)

But most you people on here are skeptics of stuff like that, so i'm not even going to get into it.

Except I will tell you this, That shit is real! I have seen it work with me own eyes ("Energy Healing" stuff) My friend had a really bad scrape, and my other friend who does that stuff, just sat there, and concentrated (or however he does it) and when he stood up, my friend said, "Wow, I could feel it getting better every second. What did you do?"

So yeah. Go ahead and be skeptic.......... I dare ya! wink.gif

...Dude....clocks are never accurate to begin with...daylight savings time...duh?

Ok, seriously, think logically about the whole Chi/Ki thing for a second. Now, I'm not one to believe in such, but if it WERE true, then, WHY may I ask, would it effect the clock? Last time I checked, that's not what "bodily/spiritual energies" do. Healing, I understand...spiritual body connected to physical body...but why a clock? That's just ridiculous, even for a believer.

As for your statement thing, No one will believe you until they see it with their own eyes. Sorry pal, your witness statement was useless...

If you're reffering to when I used the term "believer," I mean't people who believe in the existance of Ki/Chi. And I hope you didn't assume I believed in God. We've both argued against god in the same topics b4...

Anyway, assuming that my lack of seeing the obvious actually IS the problem here, please disregard all that has been previously mentioned.

OOOOOO smile.gif I'm glad you asked.

Ever heard of Psychokinesis? How bout Telekinesis?

Well, Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with just your mind. What I was trying to get at is, maybe I somehow used Telekinesis (highly doubtfull) to push the buttons on the clock. Telekinesis is not Chi/Ki, it is a different form of ENERGY (one that I can use, and my friends can, and so on and so forth. Yeah, call me crazy, I can actually use energy)

I have a question for you. Have you ever been listening to your radio before you're going to bed, and it's a little bit to loud, and you consiously think to turn it down, but you're to lazy to do so, but the music seems to get softer?

That is what I think coulda happened with my clock. Somehow, my subconsious mind did some whack ass shit (not saying it did, saying it's possible) and somehow made me change it while I was asleep. Who knows? Maybe there is some whicked uber spirit in my room that **cks with my shit?

QUOTE(FallenDreamer)

I didn't think many people in this forum knew anything about energy.

I know that Chi/Ki couldn't have done it. There are many other forms of energy then just those two. There is energy for every "element" too (Earth, Air, Fire, Water)

I'm not even going to get into it, cause people will believe I am insain...............

Sigh.... Yeah, they are, and no... Well, yeah, I have lol.

They are not elements like on the elemental table thingy (Sorry man, i'm getting tired, and I get luny when i'm tired)

If you believed in energy, you would understand what I mean by when I say those are elements..... But, apperently, you don't know anything about energy and the such.

What do Druids believe in? Earth, Air, Fire, Water.
