My opinion and most everyone's in California, down with Bush, I mean I agree with the anti-terrorist but I've heard Bush has the lowest I.Q. of all presidents and just like an episode in south park... everyone thinks he takes a speech out of an earphone... I mean any president in his/her good mind would take action after 9/11 I mean not only Bush would take action... I'm sure Al Gore would've taken action... I don't believe Russia will nuke ths U.S. because that would be World War 3 where the U.S. would fight Russia and half of china will support Russia while the other half will support the U.S. it will become nuclear war I imean the russia will nuke the U.S. and the U.S. will nuke Russia and unless some really idiotic and powerful (will not happen) dictator takes control (most likely the government would get him by then). You're right, just missing the whole china becoming industrialized part. (I'm GUESSING 10-15 years from now. I am in NO WAY an expert) Then they'll be a MAJOR threat. If we fight China, I'm doing it for 2 reasons.
A- It'll be funny fighting for my half chinese friend richard to fight other chinks.
B- For free chinese food.

Actually there was a time when men tried to think before war. It was called the Age of Enlightenment. This was towards the end and right after the Age of Exploration. Thats how America and other democratic countries came to be on how they government themselfs. People used reason to figure out things...

and we keep talking about war with china and bla ba bla and how america is going to get its ass whooped. So what they have a billion man army (what ever the amount). So just bring 2 billion bullets. Our tanks can take out their Russian made tanks before they are even with in range of us to us thier own cannons. We have better fighter planes, better soldiers, just not as many. If we go to war with China I wouldn't know who would win but I know there would be a crap load of deaths in the Chinese army.... Backed into a corner our military is very dangerous, remember Somalia? 110 soldiers held back a force of 3,000 skinnies and we lost only 19 men (god bless them) and they lost around 1,000......AND we were completely surrounded....

God damn, I got some respect for those soldiers. They were real badasses. (Wether the somalia thing was right or not, I don't know. I seriously know very little on it Somalia)

Is this what the next generation of the average Americans have come to? Honestly, you don't get it, do you. Even if America is able to justify a war (which hasn't been done for quite a while), you can't simply win it by "having more bullets than the people you have to kill". What does that make you, besides a monster? All nations and groups fight their respective side of the war for a single cause: to ensure their own survival. However, this will result in the imminent doom of the entire race.

If the entire world was liberal, and we all threw away all our traditions, then just started to create a new age, and new of life, a better way of life, ya, wars would be gone. But, that ain't gonna happen. Not everyone are liberals, and World Unification isn't number one on the things to do list for most countries. (Perhaps maybe even...all countries) Neither is it for most people.

War, is it really so bad? Think about it, there is violence every day thats not war, war and violence is human nature. PERIOD its ugly but true.

I use to be anti-war, at least wars for no reason. But based on the pass few events over the years and many readings, including "All Quite on the Western Front" and "They just Don't Get It". And listening intently in my history class that I concluded that war is human nature. A man can live with out voilence but men cannot. For alot of reasons we have been fighting since we first developed tools.

Humans naturally hate each other for what ever reasons each person has. Thats why there are bullies in Schools. Football (controled voilence) Rugby(same as football). Riots, crime. Kung Fu. Violent movies and games. paintballing, Air Softing. These are many examples that feed our hungry for violence. Most people are not violent people, but deep down inside EVERY ONE, there are emotions that can be triggered by these acts, some emotions happen when you have adrenilan pumpin in your veins. Adrenalin stimulates autonomic nerve action, which isn't an emotion, but adrenalin comes with the emotion you feel during that time of violence.

Thats why many men are in the military for long periods of time becuase they love the feel they get in combat. Thats also why when some are wounded, they want to go back to the fight, for both the felling they get in combat and for their comrades still in action.

Society today as pushed and shoved that war is bad and unacceptable. Which is entirely true. That is also why many veterans won't talk about thier experieces in war becuase, one its hard to talk about and two it is seen as unacceptable. Many veterans actually enjoy combat, but they won't talk about it because its unacceptable to enjoy war.

I base this on an article I read in school, that a vietnam veteran wrote, titled "Why Men love War". he is anti war and stuff so its not baised.

And one, its perfectly alright for ANY one to like war.

War is not in human nature. Selfishness is human nature, and violence is simply a tool to make one self more comfortable. If Jim annoys you, and there's no one to stop you, a natural human would kill Jim. Why? Because he gives discomfort. People aren't all inherently violent, but they are inherently selfish and lacking of morality.

I dont like war, but if its for a reason then ill support it. like if USA just bombs Britain for no reason, just for the hell of it, then i wouldnt support it, and id hate it vary much. But this war, is for a reason, is for a right, and is helping others.

1) There are still people dying everyday due to hunger, car accidents, crimes, second hand smoke, etc.; those are REAL problems to solve

History is NOT a good subject, all you learn is the same mistakes being repeated over and over again.

If teachers are liberals, maybe that's because they actually know what they're teaching about. I, unfortunately, only had one in the past.
