I changed my priorties. It used to be "once I get the message center and profile center 100% done, I'll let the 2nd group in". Right now, I'm thinking "once I get the forums set up, I'll let everyone in".
If that was to happen, the only bug testers for the newest features would be the first group, correct? Allowing the second group to test would bring in "a fresh pair of eyes" to investigate and test the final features before release. I believe that this new forum should be tested as much as possible, to make sure that we don't have as many bugs as v4.1, and are therefore required to make v6. I still think that as much testing needs to be done as possible.

I'm also thinking we may launch senv5 befoer 100% completion.
That would mean that you would be releasing new features untested to the general public? One problem with this is that the new features may contain serious bugs that damage some form of data storage (databases). A recently backed-up database being corrupted by about 25 people is one thing, but a database corruption that damages the profiles of thousands of people is quite another. I'm not saying that something like this will happen, but there is always a chance that somebody might TRY to make it happen. To be honest, there are most likely some members of SEN that would enjoy to see a major bug be exploited (remember the hacking incident that made Yoshi leave). It may be a better idea to allow the second group in to test considering that those hand-picked by you must be trusted in some shape or form. It would be in everyone's interests (except for hackers) to see ALL new features tested before they are released on a wide scale . . . preventing bugs and security holes.
Of course, everything is up to you in the end, I'm just asking you to consider these details in your choice of action.
