one of my friends lived there and he lost everything but he made it out ok with his family
Hurricane Katrina slammed into the Gulf Coast at daybreak on Monday with 145mph winds and blinding rain. It submerged entire neighborhoods up to the rooflines, ripped part of the roof off of the New Orleans' Superdome, and the storm surge even sent water pouring over Mississippi's beachfront communities.
As a result of the storm's damage and the extensive power outages, there will be a large amount of players unable to play in TWL matches. If you have any matches pending that cannot be played due to lost players, please post in your match comms. We also ask that anyone not affected please work with the teams that are and reschedule matches.
Due to the extreme size and predicted movement of this storm, it is expected to affect a significant portion of the South Central and South Eastern US, as well as the Appalachian region as it moves NE on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Anyone who exploits this tragedy and claims to be affected by the storm and in reality is not, will be penalized accordingly. Please use good judgment. Good luck to everyone affected and stay safe.

nahh they werent killed by looters
