Alas, let me point out a new symbol that was recently added to the english language:

The question mark! It states a question meaning not declaring or demanding in which something is to end. I know it's a hard concept to grasp, but when your parents said "Always ask questions" they were talking about that sign.
By longer then I week, I guess you mean a whopping 9 days. Which is almost 1/3 of long a month (In some cases). What difference does it really make, is there ever a situation where you could've gotten a great job interview and launched your career and life, but the horror, your map took 9 days to submit fully instead of instantiously. And even if there was a need of a new DLDB keeper then the staff would have to find someone suitable for the job. Since this isn't really desprete situation, just impaitence from some people they're not going to get someone who doesn't know what they're doing because some members can't wait a few days.

Maybe if the DLDB was taking up to half a month to confirm something then there might be more of a need. But most staff on SEN are not like the members, they don't go on the fourm every single day like a lot of people.

your post didnt really seem like a question it seemed more like an insult to the peopl that were posting in here (or atleast it did to me) by saying "Isnt this topic over with?" anyway maybe the dldb problem isnt too big of a problem theres bigger things to worry about but I do like the community idea thing

Like...what?

I think the community idea could work, but I doubt it. If something concerns the public then moose (or IP) will make a post asking for our opinion. Maybe to them different people's opinions matter more then others. Although the community idea is taking a friendly apporach, I doubt it would get anything done. What things would they choose? Whether they want a new smile or not?

ok well since you metion your searching for 1 person just want you to know i'm here i'm queit known and have atleast 5 years of experience in sc and map making. I can easly tell a 30 minute peice from a day thing. Been on sen everyday for like 2 months straight now. Ok well just wanted to let you know i'm here

The system should keep each other in check, if done properly. The masses would never stand for letting the staff put in their puppet, and if the masses do let them do it, then they deserve whatever befalls them.

It's not, I forget where the rules are but it clearly states that instead of putting all the letters replace one with any of the shift + 0-9 numbers. If you do shift+2 that equals = @ therefore it is not against the rules and is not bypassing anything.
