Funny how this turned into another Iraq topic.

Microsoft DOESN'T make good OSs =/

I got XP. I like it. The reason Microsoft makes so much money is that people have liked all of the OS's from Microsoft. If Microsoft makes a bad OS, people will lose trust and not buy in the future from Microsoft.

Now how exactly could you get a beta version of an OS if it is not being tested publically? Why would you need a DVD drive to burn something that could be done on a CD?

No.. because of OIL

How? You have no proof, you state thesis's(not sure the plural form of this word), but don't back them up with proofs.

I again say this, were are in Libya right now, and with Republican majority in government we are probably going to start drilling in Alaska. We do not need/never needed Iraqi oil.

Tanks much. (slang)

The Windows Vista image is a 1.60GB DVD iso. That's 1638.4 megabytes. You can't fit that much data onto a DVD.

Also, yes, most people who use Windows are happy with it, but that doesn't change the fact that it sucks. It's the most buggy OS ever. It's security is a fracking JOKE. And Windows itself isn't open sourced, nor are many of the programs that run on Windows. So if something is buggy, you can't fix it. You have to wait for a non-existant patch to come out which will never happen. Thus Windows is screwed. All this may change in Vista or it might not.

It's not as buggy as you make it out to be. Basically, the O/S has a lot of bandaids on it with some security flaws. However, setup a secure network with a router and firewall and you are all set. Don't download illegal files that might be trojaned.

Why would Microsoft open-source one of its products? That doesn't make any sense. They are a company, they want to make money.

Your connection with corporate interests and the war is directly related to oil. What other corporation will benefit? Mcdonalds? Don't play that card on me

Of course McDonald's would benefit. All of their food products are petroleum based.

I'd just like to point out that almost every company benifits from oil. (Unless they are a corporation of hippies that delivers all thier porducts on bikes, and sells handwoven baskets from saplings pinch.gif )
