Sure, marijuana may be used by people who are in gangs, but that only makes up a small fraction of the people who use it. Such a large crowd of people use it that it's not right to pinpoint "gangs".

Then where do they get the illegal drug from? Off the internet?

Drug experimenting is GOOD. Honestly, trying marijuana once is not going to ruin your life, or even harm you at all. I smoke marijuana almost everyday, sometimes very big amounts. If I die at 60, I don't care. Who wants to be old anyways? It's not going to kill me anyways. I highly doubt marijuana alone will shorten my life, but even if it does, it won't majorly affect my lifespan. I think if you try it one time, see how it is, you'll understand those of us who do it. You'll see the good and bad of it and have knowledge of how people are when under the influence of it. Honestly, the long term affects are nothing compared to how bad they make it sound. I feel fine the day after, I even sleep a lot better, obviously. I feel crappy after a long night of drinking, yet that's legal.

To be honest, those who think that MJ is bad; they have not yet tried it. MJ is a very good drug that CAN be taken like other drugs as it is very soothing. Only idiots who already have tendancies to cause injury cause them while taking this drug. Thus they should only be permitted to take it undersupervision. :/

I think that MJ is way better than any other drug... and it's no where near a gateway drug... it's not even addicting.

I'm wondering why you guys don't want it to be legalized after thinking of all the other drugs.



Chewing tabacco is extremely disgusting, especially if people are spitting it everywhere.



Even though smoking it is more harmful than drinking, I keep thinking of all the stupid stuff people do when drinking.

Just give it a thought, I agree that taxing it like other drugs is the answer since it makes more money, instead of spending money to stop it.

I've posted before, and I'm not about to dig for it, but:

Marijuana is NOT physically addicting, but like any other thing that is enjoyable, it can be psychologically addicting.

And don't give me this "I can quit whenever I feel like it" bullshіt. If you weren't addicted, you'd not be doing it anymore. Period.

I'd like someone to give me one good reason as to why I should stop smoking marijuana. I'm only hurting myself (well, not even really hurting myself), but I'm not hurting anyone else by doing it.

Tell your parents that.

My mom knows I smoke.

Ask if they're hurt.

She never really seemed to care.

I don't think it matters if I can or not. I don't want to. You can have fun without drugs, but you can have more fun with them.

If tobacco is allowed... (which has even worse outcomes), why not MJ?

I hear they were doing research to make sure MJ is safe... it's been years... they haven't found anything.

Of course, the only thing that can really be deadly is if the MJ is laced, or if it is a special kind of MJ that releases chemicals similar to tobacco when smoked.

Marijuana releases many toxens that are in cigarettes.

Well... From the videos we watch in school, I get this:

As you smoke pot, you gain a tolerence. This tolerence gets better and better over time, reducing your highs, and therefore the enjoyment. To get a better high, you smoke more. Eventually, your tolerence level increases to the point where you will want a stronger drug, and BAM you're in a bad situation.

I'll give you a nice ball of reasons that also invovle you hurting others.

The money!

You pay your dealer, so do other kids, teens and adults that enjoy his particular brand. He takes the money and does things that are harmful to himself with it, such as grow MJ. He possibly does harder drugs, maybe if he's a really good dealer he can afford Heroin. Maybe he used to be, now he steals Heroin. Maybe he synthesizes other drugs that ARE dangerous and you're supporting that with your cashflow.

These are also reasons for legalization though, as a controlled MJ market would eliminate them all.

Yes, your tolerance does increase due to habitual smoking, you just have to smoke more to get as high. My dealer doesn't grow it, and only sells marijuana and cocaine.

Alright then, keep on smoking that crap.
