I think that the 14-15 was mostly chosen because 14-15 is the ages that make the majority of the SEN population, they think they figured everything about dating and such, I would love to say that I have, but nope. Though I may know a bit more than average members of SEN, yes I am pretty much in love with my girlfriend right now, We have been dating over a year.

Maybe DTBK sees it for what it is: an intense obsessive infatuation. Back when I was going through it, I would've said I was in love, but looking back (and having a kid really helped put things in perspective), I've never truly experienced "love" for a girl that I've been with or was interested in.

Meh, love doesn't exist for forever later (99% of the time), but you may as well start dating at 15-16. It can be fun. Younger than that and you may not know any better... might do things you regret.

No it has to be 12-13 because of the new century. People, my age specifically, got to understand the real teenage drama and they know how to adapt to having a relationship. Believe me.

I think that 12 to 13 is a little young thogh it may be leading towards that and in a few years this probably will be the age where you begin to see more activity. The age where kids get interested in the opposite sex is declining.

I think that it should be 14-15 cause thats when you know like theres predators out their, you're old enough to figure things out on you're own (most things
) and well you can handle a heart broken relationship much better then when ur like say 9-13 cause you're still growing and so is you're social and emotional self.

Everyone has their dating when they are a lot younger, like in elementary school and even before but these things dont mean anything. My first kiss was in 2nd grade.
